Excellent camera - BUT Amazon Alexa 'Skill' is rubbish (Dec '21)
Camera is very easy to set up and works well in a fairly low signal area. Daylight image clarity is good on SD, and changes quickly to HD on the simple but effective Android app allowing number plates to be seen and read at a fair distance. IOS Zosi Smart app works well too! Unfortunately though, the Zosi Smart Alexa 'Skill' is very poor resulting in 3 seconds of video followed by 3 seconds of buffering constantly - well until it crashes after a few minutes making it unusable on Alexa. I even tried setting the camera up on ethernet cable connected directly to the router with my Echo Show alongside, with no improvement. Same on my TV with Alexa 'skill' and my Daughter's Show, so I'm sure that it's the 'Skill' rather than a hardware or connection issue. As the ability to display on my Echo Show was the reason for purchasing it, unless the Zosi tech department can come up with a solution (and an updated 'Skill') this camera will be going back. Just because the description says 'Works on Alexa' unfortunately doesn't guarantee that it'll be usable - Amazon should check these claims and challenge the manufacturers if untrue. I will update if this skill is updated or if I can get the camera to work on it - but don't wait up!

Excellent picture quality for a good price
Firstly,i had to send the first one back due to picture issues. However the replacement has been pretty much perfect. It has better piture quality than a well known rival 5mp camera that begins with R.Wifi is decent, however i have used an ethernet connection because they are always more consistant.Night vision is pretty average, but if used in full colour mode with the effective spot lights (easy on the eye warm white) then it is very good, especially if backed up by street lighting. The App is not the best and is a bit cumbersome to navigate, especially trying to get to recorded files on the memory card.I use Blue Iris pc software and it has been a faultless performer when paired with this software.Motion detection is good, and i dont know why but rainfall doesnt seem to effect the detection very much(usually sets of loads of false alarms at night).H265 coding aswell to reduce bandwidth usage.Overall im very happy with this camera ,especially when you consider the price and it feels solid.

Great upgrade for my Lorex system
My Lorex LHV1008 DVR only came with 720p cameras so reading a car number plate outside my house wasn't possible with images from them but this camera is 1080p and is supported by this Lorex system at that resolution so I can now get number plates if required.Connections are identical to the Lorex so a direct replacement (had to make the hole into the roof space slightly larger to accommodate the control on the cable to change picture type but easy as it's plywood).Feels very sturdy and its night vision is better than the originals - keeps a daylight picture much longer than the other cameras.Bargain at under £20

Bought loads now would highly recommend
I have bought these previously(960h) and they are great cameras and excellent value for money I run them on Annke DVRs on ready-made cables and they produce great images I think I have bought about 20 to date first four being about 6 months ago. I have only purchased the 960s previously...but yesterday I purchased 6 960H and 6 1000tvl so i can compare them..960h/£14.99:::1000tvl/ £15.99.... I'll write another review when they arrive and I use/compare them. I should add that the DVR that drives these cameras is of great importance on the end result with image....update 25/3/18.... all still fine and still buying for certain applications

Good value and good quality images, easy to set up
Overall I am happy, the images are good quality and the camera was quite easy to set up. I think number plates can be read. Minus points are 1. you cannot adjust the angle of the camera left to right 2. The aerials are hard to twist on 3. The recordings are not easy to see at a glance i.e. by date and time. Other cameras I have bought enable a date and time selection, this has a sliding scale.

Does what a £20 camera will do...... but nothing more.
was hoping for a lot but didn't get it, but at £20 what can I expect.Good colours during the day but at night it all goes wrong.........Mine is fitted above upstairs window looking down to back door (20-25 feet max), the IR lights barely do their job. They only light up a very small area. Also thee picture at night looks blurry/foggy and is very hard to see anything. and its not condensation in the lens as I have taken it down to have a look. Its basically because its a cheap unit.

Great upgrade
I have installed a Sunluxy H264 8 ch system and while it and the cameras provided are good and outstanding value for money I bought this Zosi as it had better resolution for longer range. I am impressed with it and will will get a few more for the larger areas. The night time performance is very much better than the standard cameras with no "noise" (at all) even thou it's connected by the same (cheap)cable, the standard cam did produce a bit of a snowstorm at night. The leads use the same fittings so it's a plug in job.Very happy.

Not a great product
When people are coming up and down the driveway the camera doesn't pick them up, it seems to start recording at random intervals when nothing is happening but when something is happening it doesn't record.
