2019 flagship made in 04/2018

This computer was NOT at all like advertised. It is not a 2019, it is not new or original Acer parts. They charge for a new unit, with great specs and send out subpar products. It crashed after 4 months of owning it. We walked through the diagnostic steps and Acer couldn't understand why it wasn't working. We had to mail it in and just got it back. Acer said the problem was 3rd party memory and they don't warranty that. You should buy from anyone but this seller! Don't waste your money!

I like almost everything about it. Large screen, fast and quiet. It does not get hot, i can play all of my games so far, and my very processor and memory intensive eve-ng ccie labs running multiple virtual machines. The laptop loads in under 30 seconds.The only things i would improve is fingert print sensor does not function sometimes and i have to reboot for it to work again. This could be a driver issue or Windows. I would also redesign SD card slot to make it stick out a little less.Overall, it is an excellent product and for the price its a solid buy.

The good first. It is fast, the graphics are good, functions correctly right out of the box. Now the bad, and for me, really bad. I thought the hard drive should be more than enough to play any games I want. Wrong. By the time I downloaded just the basics, there is only 90GB of space left, the prepackaged software is taking up everything else. I have two games I play, one is near 60 GB and the other is near 40 GB. I feel dumb not realizing that I would not be able to have them both, but I never accounted for so much of the space to be taken up by other items. Based on the small hard drive I would not recommend it unless you only have a single game you like or it has a light footprint.

The graphics are amazing for about an hour and then the heat kicks in. The fans runs constantly but never seems to move any heat. Even the keyboard is hot to the touch. I've learned to use a grease plate with an ice pack under it a fan to try to reduce the heat and not burn my fingertips writing this review.If you're a part-time gamer looking for a less expensive laptop, this may be for you. But, if you play longer than an hour or have sensitive fingertips, move on.

Short battery life, less than 3 hours under normal use. After setting up the laptop the WiFi disconnected and the system said the WiFi card was defective. Had to reset to factory defaults and update the driver's as soon as I had an Internet connection. Works great with no issues now. Speed and graphics are amazing. 4 stars only because of the super short battery life

So far, it's done everything I've asked of it. I expect it to last for years. One thing people have noted I have to agree with: 4k really cries out for a large screen to display it on.
