Great for Yoga
I am a relative newbie in the yoga world. Classes at the YMCA for the past year. During that time, I have just worn running shorts. Works ok, but can be a little too ... revealing ... when doing inversions like shoulder stands. My wife has yoga apparel; she loves it and as well as being flattering to her figure, her yoga togs are comfortable and enhance her practice.I decided to also spring for yoga togs. Bottom line first - there just isn't too much out there for men! I looked at a fairly wide variety of sources and found little to be had. What I did see looked just like sweat pants, not really what I was looking for, but like the running shorts would most likely be serviceable if not designed for yoga.I saw these 4-rth Cuffed Yoga Pants during my search. Decided to give them a try. What the heck, I have been spending well over $100 for running shoes for years! Why not try a considerably less expensive pair of yoga shorts since I am increasingly "into" yoga and the benefits that I get from yoga??I wasn't sure of the fit (I am DEFINITELY not shaped like the models show on the website!), so I sent an email to the seller. Got an answer back within a half hour! And the advice on fit was spot on. I am 5'9" and about 180 lbs (long torso, short legs...) and wear a 34" waist on most items. I got the large. Fits perfectlyDid my first yoga practice yesterday. The Cuffed Yoga Pant worked like a charm. Did not bind or restrict my movements in any way and the legs did not fall down around my waist during inversions. Very comfortable as well! The feel of the material is somewhat like felt. Waist is a band that does not feel restrictive in twisting poses and yet is "firm" enough to keep the pants in place. The cuff part falls just below my knees. Again, did not cause any restrictions in movement and did not ride up above my knees either. Calling the bottom a cuff is not really accurate though, it does not have any rolled portion like I think of when you say cuff - more like just a little elastic that keeps that part of the pants below the knee where it is designed to go.I had wondered if the Cuffed Yoga Pants would require additional support for my groin area (for modesty), and it does. I go commando in cycling shorts and running shorts (if a liner is included), but definitely not for these Cuffed Yoga Pants. Just a little too much freedom for public classes!Final impression? Good pants for yoga! I recommend them highly.

Very comfortable - Might require different underwear...
These are well made and super comfortable for yoga. The only thing that takes some getting used to how to deal with your junk. Before these, I mostly wore basketball shorts with boxers which makes it possible to to relocate your junk as needed for various poses. Boxers or free balling isn't an option with these, even with regular trunk style underwear, you could still make out the twig and helmet... I don't pull them up to where they are tight in the crotch but after a lunge or two, they are right up in there. Functionally its perfect, out of the way, maximum range of motion with minimal restriction, its just if you aren't used to having your endowment on display it can be uncomfortable at first. I ended up wearing a jock under and that helps a lot. It doesn't restrict range of motion at all and it helps a lot to tuck everything away and smooth it all out so that individual parts aren't identifiable. The one problem with that though is that now your junk is totally immobile and you can no longer tuck things out of the way... Chair pose for example was murder. the teacher instructs knees together and typically I'd let it all fall through to the back side before putting the knees together but no such option now. I've found though that if you put the knees together while still totally upright that you can keep your junk on top, you just cant squat as far down. Gomukhasana is totally out of the question. People do look at your junk but its usually followed by a smile so whether that is a plus or minus depends on you. :) --- I'm happy to have these and I plan to get a couple more colors. The calf length is perfect for yoga.

Delightful and Comfy
I got a pair of the Transition Cuffed Yoga Pants along with the Eco-Track short (which I reviewed separately with 5 stars).I love these although I will confess they are not quite as comfy for me as the Eco-Track short and it's a combination of the waistband and leg cuffs. But don't get me wrong -- they ARE comfortable and I love them, it's just the Eco-Track short blows me away with comfort. Had I not bought the Track short I would have no idea there was such a thing as a non-existent waistband and I'd probably give these 5 stars. And maybe I'm being picky for even making the comparison. They are by far the best pair of shorts with cuffs I've ever bought. I will use them in cooler weather because the fabric is warm although not thick (another plus). For me I've noticed they get a bit warm just wearing leisurely when the temps are getting into the 70s. Not sure yet what the lower threshold is going to be. But I have ordered a pair of the longer pants for temps in the 40s.I have also ordered another pair of these Transition Cuffed pants. Yes, they are pricey but I have no regrets after trying similar shorts from the no-name Chinese makers. I even tried a pair of Puma capri-type shorts and immediately returned them because I hated the fabricThe material is far superior and so is the fit.My uses: light exercise (planking and sit ups) and wearing around the house. I haven't started any hardcore yoga yet but I can't imagine they are not ideal for that.

Great Exercise 3/4 pant
The material is soft yet durable. Not very color stable as they are fading after 4-5 years of poor washing etiquette on my part. They are still functional and I would recommend them to anyone. I like the fit. I wouldn't buy them again, not because of any issue, but solely just to expand my knowledge of new materials and products. If you buy it you will be happy with it.
