I love all the teas from Suwirun. I am Thai and went to the Suwirun tea shop in Chiang Mai Thailand. That’s where I first bought this tea. I was so excited to see it on Amazon too!

I love lemongrass as well as butterfly pea flower tea. I got this to mix with my own herbs for our summer enjoyment.BAGSThe bags will work in a regular size tea mug. If you want stronger tea or use a larger mug, I find that it needs two to flavor enough.FLAVORThis has a nice combination of lemongrass and blue pea flower flavor. It is a lemon flavor with just a touch of grassiness to add depth.HOW I USE THISi love the blue touch that this adds to tea. I like to pick lemongrass, lemon thyme, lemon verbena, and lemon balm from our garden. I put them in fresh and brew them along with a few of these bags for a nice big pot. I then either drink it warm or cool it down after sweetening and add ice.DO WE LIKE THIS?This is good tea. Alone it is good and I enjoy it, but I really love it adding extra lemon herbs as listed above. The blue adds a fun touch and the mingled flavors are refreshing, relaxing, and make us feel nice all summer.BLUEThis is definitely blue in color. If you add anything acidic to it, it will turn a darker violet purple.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a nice tea to have on hand alone or for blending with our own herbs.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. This is so handy to have around. If I realy want to have some blue tea or if I want to add blue or purple to our home made blend of herbs, this stuff is really nice. It does taste clean as in no chemicals too.

Decent tea. It has a pleasant taste and I really like the color. It changes to a nice purple when you add some lemon. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend

It smells strongly of citrus when I open the package. I think it must be the lemongrass. It makes me think of Fr*ot Loops cereal! XDIt’s not sweet at all , but there is a tart lemon-like flavor to it. Usually butterfly pea tea tastes kind of like peas (like pea soup peas), so it was a pleasant surprise. I don’t taste any pea-flavor in this one. I had steeped it in just a little hot water so it would be concentrated (so the flavor would be strong). I then added cotton candy extract, vanilla syrup, cream and ice to get the color you see in the photo. Mine is light blue because I put a lot of cream in it. It’s really good now! It tastes like a fancy tea from a boba shop or D*tch Bros or something :) I guess the extract and syrup weren’t acidic enough to turn the color from blue to purple. It still tastes heavenly, though :) I read that if you put in alkaline substances you can make it green, too!I can’t speak to the caffeine content as it is not listed on the bag. The internet tells me that both lemongrass and butterfly pea does not have caffeine, though?It wasn’t any harder to use than any other tea, though you might think it harder because the tea bags don’t come with string. I mix a lot of stuff in my tea, so I always just spoon the teabag out with a spoon anyway.It comes in a resealable foil package. The bags are pyramid bags made out of filter paper. The expiration date on mine is: 16-07-2026Much nice! Lots of possibilities :)P.S. I did try it with “nice smile”! XD (see package to get the joke).

My husband really enjoys lemongrass & ginger tea, so when I saw this Lemongrass-Butterfly Pea tea I decided to give it a try. I’m not a huge fan of lemongrass and ginger tea so I wasn’t sure I’d personally like this tea, but I was really presently surprised. Not only is this tea fruity in flavor and delicious, it smells an amazing, and is blue in color!I brought a few tea bags to my science glass to use for a lesson where we were exploring the effects of heat energy (I thought the blue color of the tea would be perfect for the object lesson). The children kept remarking how this tea smelled like candy!I later had one of my sons try it cold, he’s not a regular hot tea drinker, and he kept exclaiming how good it was. He suggested it would make a great summer iced tea, reminiscent to the fruity iced teas various fast food restaurants now serve.The tea comes packaged well in a bag that has both Thai and English writing. The bag claims the tea is USDA Organic certified, among other certifications. I could not find any portion of the bag that listed the ingredients, but upon inspecting the contents of a bag it appears to be natural and legit (portions of lemongrass and butterfly pea flower). (See picture)A final fun bonus with this tea: the bag suggests adding lemon to the tea to turn it purple! I decided to try it out and it worked!! (See picture of iced teas). These iced teas were sweetened with cane sugar and iced. These one with lemon tasted a bit more like lemonade than the regular tea without lemon. Both were good!This tea is delicious both hot and cold and is unexpectedly fun! If you’re thinking about trying it, I say you should!

However, the tea bags don’t have strings, which makes it a bit tricky to remove them after steeping.
