Does this work well for pulling up pants that don't have belt loops to hook?

Actually I keep this in the bathroom as it helps me pull up my pants, No belt loops are needed!

Products says can help pull on socks but can’t figure out how to use it that way. Is there a video or pictures to explain how?

After using this product and trying all aspects stated, this is one that is a miss. There is no video I could find and this product, while good, is not designed or intended for putting on socks. Sure, I have been able to work them on, but a struggle.

It’s really is junk. broke in half the second day i used it. also hard to get your heel on it to put your sock on. i would not recommend this.

Yes, I noticed that I couldn't get it screwed together all the way and it made it a little wobbly , but I don't use it to put on socks. I use the tube you pull your sock onto and then slip your foot into the tube and then pull the tube off and the sock goes onto your foot. I don't know what it is called. I received this along with a grabber after my back surgery. I use this stick to take off socks because it has the downward curved prong that works. I don't use it as a shoe horn either.

Does it help with zippers?

No it will not help with zippers.
