I was induced and hooked up to a hormone drip. So my labour contractions were very painful. I managed to get through the contractions using gas and air whilst my partner operated the tens machine at the same time. I did practice hypnobirthing. So not sure this would have worked without being in the right mindset aswell. But definitely a combination of the above did the trick for me.

This machine is great for muscle pain relief. I've had shoulder and neck pain for years. I used a tens machine on it at the chiropractor and that helped so I thought why not try one at home. I did a quick research and bought this one. I am not familiar with other machines and if the sticky pads on this one are better or worse than any others. I've used this several times and now need to change the pads because they are no longer sticky. It came with more pads though so I don't have to buy any yet. I'll update later on the pad replacement. I would recommend this machine, it was fairly easy to figure out how to use and has helped so much with my pain that I don't know why I didn't try one before.

I've had it for about 8 years and it works perfectly. It helped me a lot when I feel tired or if I am sore. Totally recommended!

I’ve had this TENS unit for about 3 years now and it still works perfectly fine. It’s easy to find replacement pads - but when I first bought it it came with both small and large pads, along with two leads.It’s not your typical TENS unit if you’re use to setting the pulse width/ frequency/ and such, but the simple going up and down to see the intensity works just fine.There’s different types of massages which is super nice and it gets the job done. You basically choose between a continuous massage and the on/off time (10s stimulus followed by rest).I’m really glad I bought it and my traps and back are the main reasons to use. Period cramps are also lessened thanks to it.

This TENS device works very well. It does a great job for alleviating pain like sore feet, stiff shoulders or back pain. According to the pad placement diagram, it works on many areas of the body and can target various muscles. It can even target left and right areas at the same time.My only complaint is the lack of instructions on what the modes are. It's got eight different modes with two variations for each mode, (don't ask me what they are or the difference between them due to no explanation in the instructions). I did go to their website, but they don't even mention or support the device anywhere on the site. At this point, I basically stick the pads on me where I want them to work and start with the first mode and increase the intensity. I then switch to different modes and again repeat the intensity increase, (when you change modes, the intensity drops back to zero). I do this until I feel like the device is giving me the best effect.This truly is a great and powerful TENS unit, but the lack of direction in using it is sad, (they really only tell you how to charge it and where to place pads on various areas). It would be nice to get directions on where best to place the pads for what specific areas you want targeted and which mode works best as we'll as what they are)!!!One other issue!! The AC adaptor is not working. There are two lights on mine. One green for power going in, (through the wall outlet), and one other light that lights up white when charging. The white light isn't lighting up except when I wiggle the charging cable. I know there is an issue since I bought one of these a month ago for a family member and when I barrowed their adapter and plugged in my Vive unit the white light came on when it did not on my own adapter.Update: Vive was very kind to send a replacement charger unit and it works great. This thing is so good that everyone I loaned it to wants their own. Sometimes I order one for them, and sometimes I let them keep the one I have on hand and order another unit for myself.I should get a commission or something 😁

I love this new tens unit I got! I've been going to the chiropractor a lot this year and was hoping I could find something of quality and at a decent price that would compare to what I get in office. I think that this is it! I like the fact that it is so small (even though I lose everything) the fact that it is rechargeable was one of the main reason I bought it. I can't stand running out of batteries. I like all the different modes as well. The intensity on this machine is not kidding. I haven't gotten past 7 bars. It came with 8 pads which is great for giving me time to order more when need be and is really easy to use. Read the instructions for sure and look at the placement chart. Overall, I would buy this again and if it stands up over time I will buy more as gifts for fiends and family.
