Verify that the software is for the board you installed. There are multiple board versions. Also, be sure to install both programs, for the board and for the display.

No, you can not. This only fit CR-6 SE and CR-6 Max.

Q: I bought this for my cr-6 max. its marked for a 6se. do i need to do anything to it for it to work on the max?

ill tell you what i can check and see if all connectors look the same should be straight plug and play except for mabe one wire may be in different place on that board to the old as it was on mine but i replaced an older cr6se board with that one if it all looks the same it should work i would think you just have to put your firmware on it and screen firmware i run the community one so thats what i did just be sure if all is the same to check and see if you need to move that one connector there should be a picture of it on the page with the board on amazon if im right

yes, it controls position (x,y,z) bed temp, nozzle temp, and extrusion rate.
