Overall build quality is decent, maybe a tad bulkier than some of their competition. This was the only 4-channel mirror-display I could find on Amazon, and I needed 4 channels for a specific install. This unit didn't come with any cameras, but has triggers for all the cameras except the front. The directions and ad indicate split-screen display functionality, which I could not get to work adequately on the test bench. I was able to test all the camera inputs, and the camera triggers, and they worked as advertised. You can set the display to reverse the image, but not flip horizontally. And I could not find a way to do this differently for the different camera inputs - it appeared that the functionality would be applied to all cameras or none; you couldn't set them individually. (if there was a way to do this, it was not outlined in the directions and it wasn't intuitive through the menu system) The response time for displaying a cameras image via the triggers was a little slow; but I found a setting to improve this which helped, but still wasn't as responsive as I'd like. Unfortunately the mirror would only display one image at a time, and you had to switch between them using the touch screen or using the little button-press device that was included. Other reviews showed multi-display capability simultaneously, but the directions on the unit I received only showed the ability to display a split-screen display between the "main" selected camera and the triggered camera. Unfortunately I could not get this to work at all on the test bench - I was able to switch between the four modes which displayed full screen, but never could get even the split-screen to work. If you need 4 inputs and are fine with just one camera image being shown at a time, this unit is sufficient. Unfortunately this did not meet the needs for this install, so I will be returning the unit.

I received an email from seller to leave an honest review. I was not given a promotional deal, I paid full price for whatever this was going for at the time. Please browse thru my pictures. This is going on my work truck. As you can see I absolutely have no view for my rear view mirror. I could go tow mirrors but I find them too big and it does block some views. You guys who have them you know what I'm talking about. I wanted a fully functional rear view mirror. I do have an 8" screen to view my other cameras but I rather save that screen for Android Auto, Google Maps, my music etc. I received this in a timely matter. Everything was packaged professionally, instructions were basic. I wouldn't suggest if you never done this type of installation before get someone who knows. I had to get a buddy help me. Even for the both of us, installing this and 4 cameras took us a hot minute, him getting power to all 4 cameras while I sleeved, routed all wires to the cabin. The side cameras that were provided with this kit were not used. They did not provided RCA connection that are male at both ends. That is why this review is missing a star. I changed one end of the side camera just to test it out and I wasn't happy with them so we just scraped them into the trash. The onscreen controls are responsive, just make sure you hit the right spots. I like the round button so you can scroll the views so you don't have to use the mirror. It's not fair to judge how good the screen shows the view, it's up to how good of a quality camera you have - and I'm still searching. Just a reminder, this is RCA connection. It should be enough. I suggest getting very good quality cameras, make sure all your connections if possible soldered(sp?) correctly, weatherproof all connections, route cabling with cable ties etc.. I like this rear view mirror. I'm gonna keep it

Used as a rear facing camera on my box truck, Works well stands up to the baking sun alright. In bright light it has issues with reflections on the screen. Has 4 RCA video imputs, 3 of witch have 12v triggers to switch to. (Listed as left and right turn signal and backup light) I have wired it so the rear camera is always on, and the 'backup input' is triggered by the cargo light, and shows a camera i've mounted inside the cargo box, allowing me to see the inside of the box

Works as it should. Looks great too.

Nice system, easy to hook up and works wonderfully. It didn't come with everything required for install, however. Two RCA male/make adapters were missing, but Master Tailgaters quickly sent a pair out once I asked about it.
