pros:-consistent performance.-easy to use.-timer works as expected.-the grinder is good and actually works.-quick, doesn't take time to start brewing.-disassembly is easy.cons:-if you set up the brew for 2 cups, but fill it up with 10 cups of water, it will use the whole 10 cups regardless of the settings. This means you have to fill up every time you want to brew.-You cant reheat coffee.-only 5 filters included with the machine?-the beginning part of the solution manual is terrible. The pictures are confusing.-you have to adjust the time again after you switch it off every time.-this is a nitpick, but the design for the grinder "plug" is inconvenient, if you remove it while there are beans inside, you cant put it back in without removing all the beans.

I’ve used drip coffee machines for ever, but always with ground coffee. Adding whole beans and listening to it grind them, adds an extra lift to my step in the morning.I pre-warm the jug with hot water, and the coffee stays warm for up to 6 hours after brewing. Which really suits me. I brew one pot in the morning and it lasts me pretty much all day.So pleased with this purchase. It’s so easy to use and adjust. Much easier than some of its competitors which seem to require 28 steps to just change from strong to weak coffee, of from 2 to 8 cups. With this machine it’s obvious and easy.

Does what is meant to really happy with the buy. Pretty good quality product better then expected

Nothing beats a freshly ground and brewed cup of coffee. Which is why I bought this machine.Unfortunately as another reviewer pointed out I also had an issue with beans getting wedged within the bean container forcing the plastic connector pieces to break off. Although I can still brew already ground coffee, my grinder no longer works. The machine is very bulky and without the function of the grinder I won't have it sitting on my kitchen counter. I called repair company and was told that Melitta no longer sell parts for this machine and quite frankly even if they did the repair and parts would cost more than the machine itself. So disappointing and I believe a flaw in design.

Wir hatten vorher eine Russel Hobs, und die Melitta ist einfach um Längen besser, in der Handhabung, im erzeugten Geschmack, mit der Art der Kanne und im Design. Den Kauf hab ich nicht bereut.

Conforme à mes attentes . Le café est bon, l'utilisation facile . La cafetière est volumineuse mais belle . C'est un plaisir de redécouvrir le café en grains . Il faudrait prévoir des quantités de tasses plus précises et non de 2 en 2 . par exemple , on ne peut pas préparer 3 tasses . Il faudrait aussi que le réservoir d'eau ne se vide pas complètement mais en fonction de la quantité de tasses programmée , Je recommande cependant cette cafetière , présentée en vidéo sur You tube de façon claire et précise , ce qui m'a rassurée quant à cet achat, assez onéreux pour moi . Je vous conseille de regarder cette vidéo .
