Heavy Power House
I own Voltaic systems Arc20 and 45 Solar Panels. I got this since I needed more power and wanted to test the efficiency. I took this to Alaska for a week long Dog Sled expedition in Denali. The Solar Panel worked great connected to Voltaic system V88 batteries. The panel is a little on the heavy side, weighing approx 5.1lbs. Water resistance was pretty good. The panel got wet and froze on a few occasions and held up in -20 degree temps. As long as there was sun hitting the panel it was ready to charge whatever you connected. While traveling on the trail I strapped this to the top of my sled bag using some shock cord. It took all kinds of bumps and bangs. I tried to break this thing and couldn't, it just kept producing power! I didn't use any of the USB ports located directly on the panel since I connect my devices to the battery (safer for your gadgets) but it was nice to know it had the ability to charge direct to my phone or inReach or any other USB powered device if I needed power right away. This is exactly what I needed! The output is great and the durability was surprising! One thing I would like to see, is this be made into a lighter weight model and PTFE coat the entire thing, remove all the zippers, fabric, and stands, like Voltaic does on their Arc45 panel. That would be a backpackers dream!

Bought this for when the power goes out and I need to recharge the Tenergy power station. It even worked inside my office via direct sunlight coming in the window. Charged the unit from 83 to 99 % in about 1.5 hours....so it will take longer to charge from scratch, but if it was outside it would be better as well. Nice price for a charger/power station pair. Good show Tenergy.....just wish the Tenergy power station would not run its fan with only a load of 15 watts, because that means some of the power station work is wasted cooling the power station when it is not getting hot from such a small load. I use the solar charger to try to compensate.

Quality
You can tell this is made to last. To me this was not lightweight, but really I have not had a panel like this before to compare to. My son had to help me carry it and set it up. Made in the USA!! It works great and stores away nicely.
