1/4" BSP Pipe Tap, Thread Taps, G1/4 Pipe taps Threading Taps for Clean & Re-thread Damaged/Jam Pipe Threads

The Tap worked perfectly & did the job i required from it well. I received it the next day once I placed my order all in all a great experience

For light duty tapping and clean-up, at this price range, the quality is better than average. I used it for a liquid cooling install for a PC.

Did the job for the one BSP thread I had to chase. I don't know how long it would hold up if you used it a lot but it was fine at least once. :)

This is a thread "cutting" tap. Not a thread forming tap. A thread cutting tap needs a smaller tap hole. My holes needing a thread forming tap were already drilled. Had to get another tap.

Threads are cut properly. Overall sharp. However the tap is 0.005” too large in diameter. As such it is a paperweight.

Product appeared to be used, very dirty and burrs were rolled over. After cleaning up the burrs the tap wouldn't screw into an existing nut that was the proper size. Measured diameter with a micrometer and found it to be .015 oversize. Not worth the hassle of returning, will try another supplier. Buyer beware!
