Great machine
I have had my Eversewn Sparrow X2 for almost a month and I absolutely love it! I highly recommend this machine. I upgraded from a 2013 Brother sewing/embroidery machine. I am not a professional, embroidering is just a fun hobby. There is a learning curve with this machine and tech experience is helpful. The machine receives designs from a 64-bit phone or tablet, so make sure that is what you have before you purchase this machine. This machine also uses a variety of design formats; I mainly use Brother and Janome formats. I have had a couple of poorly digitized designs give me lots of problems with the spacing being off, but most designs stitch out great. My only complaint about this machine is the needle threader. It is more difficult to thread this machine than any other machine I've used (Brother and Janome). Once you figure out exactly where the needle has to be, it's a little easier. My main suggestions are 1) use only Eversewn bobbins (the others bounce too much), 2) use good quality thread (I use Isacord), and 3) be sure to test the design first, especially if you adjust it in the app. The only feature I haven't found that I miss from my Brother is adjusting the hoop while it's on the machine. The poorly digitized designs could have easily been fixed if I could have moved the hoop when the design sent it to the wrong place.

Tackle the Learning Curve and Reap the Benefits
I did a lot of research before I bought this and found most of the negative reviews here on Amazon were simply because the person didn't do enough troubleshooting. There is a learning curve, and once you tackle it, the app and machine work seamlessly within 15ft of one another and it's very rewarding to watch it do most of the work for you in the embroidery arm. I've owned various Brother machines and Husqvarna Viking Diamond, and I think for me as a person, I didn't view this machine as a challenge, I viewed it as new tech and an upgrade with a nifty free app to explore. I LOVE THIS APP, it is almost perfect and I give it 4 stars out of 5. I give the machine 4 stars out of 5. It worked right out of the box and was tested, and inspected before delivery. There is a warranty for this machine if you register it online.I will update my review if I have any real issues that I myself or customer service cannot tackle together. There is no reason to waste people's time with a poorly written review. Thanks.

Do buy!
I’ve been doing embroidery for a long time and decided to upgrade. I had more problems and issues in the one month that I had with this machine than with any other machine that I’ve worked on. When I went into my local sewing machine center they said all they hear is problems about this machine.I couldn’t get my projects to lie up properly. Every time I had to change thread the machine would be off and cause the design to be off. I broke more needles than I can count. Save yourself the headache. I called tech support and joined FB groups to help me. In those groups it seemed like everyone was having issues too.If you want a good machine go to your local sewing store and talk to them about your needs or search kens sewing online. You can buy a used but under warranty machine that’s better and for the same price.

Works great when it wants to work.
This is the most finicky embroidery machine I have ever used. The adjustments have to be JUST right for every. Single. Project. I am constantly trying to figure out why the thread is breaking or why the tension isn’t right. It’s such a headache. Then, everything will work fine and you’re left to wonder what you did right. Not an easy machine to use at all.

Struggled with 1st Machine, Replaced No Problem
After trying every possible trouble-shooting tip, a phone call with the admin of the Facebook support group, and extensive emailing back-and-forth with EverSewn customer service (who was super kind), I ultimately sent my machine back to the manufacturer because NOTHING was capable of getting the embroidery function to stay connected with the app and work successfully. Well, the replacement machine worked beautifully and although I've only embroidered words so far, but I am SO EXCITED by the possibilities!
