Locking 1/4 inch extension

you need newer sockets for these to work
I have a lot of older sockets and these won't lock on , problem being that you still need to push the button to get them on the socket but they don't lock on the older style and then the socket falls off and you need to push the button again to get the socket back on to have it fall off again and again, you want to talk about frustration but if you have all new sockets your in there great

Not as advertised
These work okay at best to hold a socket. Better than a regular ball detent but not great. The ball detent on this doesn’t stick out as much as it should and let’s them go. Not sure if it’s a manufacturer defect because the 3/8s that I got work perfectly.
