It really does what it claims.I use vo5 conditions and the I applied this product and my usual Dry entangle hair feels so soft and tangle free that I don’t even have to use regularly a comb and my Curls looks and feels soft and bouncy.

I love this product so much. I struggle to find moisturizing products that don’t make my hair feel weird. One it dries flip your hair pulverized to remove the stiffness and omg it’s so moisturized… without being greasy! It does well with the 4 different gels I have tried it with. You can mix a lot of things with this product and it does not produce those little white beads. My hair doesn’t frizz out when I fluff it with a pick. The best part is that it’s really easy to wet your hair day after day and you don’t need to apply much more in other words the product is buildable.

I heat damaged my hair pretty bad a year ago. I mean it was so straight no matter how much water or product I used. Now, its not back as it was because time and new growth is the option Im choosing. I do not want another big chop. The collage picture is just to show how bad it was. It was damaged March 2020. But that pic was in August. So you can see my hair has come a long way. But I was so happy to see how this Curl Primer gave my straight pieces some curl, lol. I can kinda hide it some so it's not as obvious. But believe you, me, I will not flat iron my hair again. This is the second incident. My hair is just to thin and it's really not worth it. I absolutely love my curls. So maybe another year it will be back to normal.

I don’t know my hair type, it doesn’t really match the charts. I’m mixed but my hair is more black than anything. The problem is I lose a lot of hair during detangling even being gentle and spending a good hour with brushes and combs and leave ins, by the time I’m done I don’t even wanna style it so because of that I’ve worn my hair in crochets, braids, and locs off and on for 2yrs. Couldn’t relax my hair because It would drastically thin my already thinning hair. But I stumbled across this in December 2020. SheaMoisture Coconut Custard Make It Last Wash N' Go Curl Primer is the absolute best product I've ever used on my curly 3C-4A hair. Product is not sticky or greasy and warms well in palm of hands prior to applying to the hair. I apply it on my hair when wet and don't touch it at all after I application. Once hair is dry just finger fluff or quick pass of hair dryer with diffuser to lengthen the curl. OH and can we talk about how this product smells so deeeeeelicious and takes my curls from frizzy to defined with bounce and body.
