How do you configured it with Smartthings? the Third Reality brand in the hub does not give you any option to pair with a water leak sensor

Please follow this video to configure the Water Leak Senor with SmartThings.

What is the correct orientation when placing this? The pictures show the holes facing up .. which seems to make it hard for water to get kn and trip.

The holes definitely remain facing up as water is not intended to penetrate the unit. You will notice the small screws on the bottom of the sensor, when water touches those screws it makes a connection that triggers the sensor.

Can i change the push alert? It sends endless notifications over and over until its physically turned off. Maybe one every 5 min would be better.

No such feature directly with the unit, but you should be able to with your automation platform.

do these work with google home / Assistant ?

Not sure, but they do work with Hubitat, using the generic Zigbee moisture sensor driver. If Google / Home Assistant has similar drivers, it would probably work. Perhaps the answer is in the reviews...

Works better than I expected for the price

Was the most affordable leak sensor I could find. Linked with my Hubitat hub no issues and works perfectly. The siren is loud enough on its own and notifications with my hub are seamless. I have tested it with water a few times, it takes very little to trigger it.

Gibt den Alarm nicht weiter an IOBroker

Lässt sich zwar mit IOBroker koppeln, aber meldet nicht den Alarm weiter....piept nur...dann brauche ich auch kein ZigBee
