Not AquaCoat.... but close.
This stuff is pretty good for what it costs honestly. Great clear grain filler. It seems to hide and disappear quite well under Nitro lacquer. It's a bit fiddly getting the right application thickness and sanding at first but every new product takes some getting used to. Do a test piece or two to get a hang of the material properties and you'll have great results. Grain fill EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. Never skip the grain fill, no matter how tight grained you think the wood is. This stuff is now my secret weapon to a cosmic glossy guitar finish on rock maple. It cuts your number of coats down, it makes final sanding easier, and over all you'll have less work to get a dead flat ultra gloss shine.

Do not purchase this useless product.
Stays white, not clear, poor adhesion, and damages natural, fine-wood surfaces. Amazon should stop selling and refund my purchase. I couldn't even return product for a refund. When I tried to return, Amazon would have sent me a worthless replacement - so now I've lost money and time (too much money and time).

Easy to use and great results
This is my first time using this product. I was worried it was going to be difficult to apply and prepare but it was about the easiest grain filler I’ve ever used. I used this on a bass I was building for a friend and I’m very glad I used it. I used a lacquer over the top.

Do not buy unless you love to rework and waste money.
Just simply does not work. I am trying to grain fill on an antique mahogany table top. I've applied about 10-15 coats of this expensive and worthless crap and can still see open pores. The rag I am using to apply shellac picks this up then muddies up the shellac.

Shrinks and stays white unless you stain it.
I tried it on several small knife scales. It stayed white even with several coats of clear. Says 365 day return window, but Amazon says 30 days. You have to call, but Amazon will honor the 365 day refund if not satisfied.
