Pet Dentist Dog Toothbrush for Large Dogs and Cats with Bamboo Charcoal Bristles for Kind Gentle Dog Teeth Cleaning

I liked that it had fairly soft bristles and resembled a human toothbrush. I think they’re teeth are as important as ours and need a good quality paste and brush. All the ones I’ve gotten from the store were very hard bristled and didn’t have a lot of bristles to cover the surface area of my boxers teeth. I feel with this brush they get a good clean, and it’s easier and faster for me because it covers their teeth well.

I love the concept, and the bristles are soft enough that my dogs don't mind it. BUT I have Papillons, and this brush is WAAAYY too big for their little mouths. Any chance it's available in a human child size instead of the adult human size?

My dog actually lets me brush his teeth with this brush. The brush really does a good job of removing the plaque from the teeth also. Highly recommend it.

Great dog toothbrush. Better than others used in the past. Removed more plaque, and does not irritate her gums. Good product.

This directly to large for my dogs mouth she is or not even a-year-old even though she has big teeth but I like them so I ordered those toothbrushes for humans and their great

WAY too big for a cat. This is the size of a human toothbrush. Probably great for medium to large dogs, but unfortunately I can't use it on my cats.

I highly recommend this toothbrush for your dog. The bristles are soft and even though my dog is not crazy about getting her teeth brushed, she doesn’t seem to mind me using this toothbrush. I can brush a little longer and get in those hard to reach places.

I don't see much difference with other toothbrushes my beagles have used. I will continue exploring for something else.

The product is well presented and comes in a navy blue box with instructions on how to use the product.The toothpaste comes in a beef flavour, as far as I am aware, this is the only flavour that it comes in for just now. To a humans nose it doesn’t smell of much but Lola, my blue mitted ragdoll, can definitely smell something. The toothpaste comes out in a paste, although a little liquid residue comes out at the start. I just use a tissue to wipe this off, so that I am using the actual paste when brushing Lola’s teeth. The toothpaste is infused with Calprox that cleans your pet’s teeth and prevents the build up of plaque for healthier teeth and gums. What is great about this product is that you do not necessarily need to brush your pet’s teeth as it works on contact. So just by liking the paste your pet will do the work for you and mix it around their mouth when swallowing. So if you are worried about damaging your pet’s gums from brushing then this product is worth giving a try. Since using the product Lola has fresher breath, which makes her kitty kisses to wake me up in the morning more enjoyable.The toothpaste is completely safe to use of your pet and is the only pet toothpaste approved by VOHC (The Veterinary Oral Health Council). It does not contain any harsh abrasives that can be found in other similar products. This gives me piece of mind that I am not doing more damage than good.I have been using petsmile for a couple of months now and can say that Lola’s teeth and gums appear cleaner. However, it is not magic. It is not after one application that you will see results. This involves regular use of the product. I use the product once daily on Lola. Lola, being a ragdoll usually lets me do what I like with her, so introducing this product to her was easy enough. For cats (or dogs) that will resist, I would recommend starting simply by letting your pet like the paste from your finger or putting a little bit on their paw for them to lick off. This will get them used to the taste and consistency of the toothpaste. Once they seem to have got used to it, then start introducing the applicator swabs. The swabs are great, and very soft. Lola tends to chew on it while I am moving the swab around her mouth. The swab is easy maintenance between thorough deep cleaning using the Bamboo Charcoal Toothbrush. Slowly you can build your way up to introducing the toothbrush. The only downside to the brush is that it is a little big for cats (in my opinion). I would love to see this brush comes out in a smaller size for easier use on your cat. With that said, it does work but it is easier to use the swabs on Lola. The USP (unique selling point) of the toothbrush is that as it is made with Bamboo Charcoal it kills bacteria and germs, causing decay. The bristles are also very soft. You can also get create in the ways that you apply the toothpaste. If you have a dog try applying the toothpaste directly onto one of their favourite toy or dry food. The toothpaste works on contact to dissolve the protein pellicle on the teeth, so no brushing required.Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to others especially if you have a difficult cat or dog that doesn’t like their owners putting things in their mouths. Remember keeping your pet’s oral hygiene in good condition might save you the cost of expensive trips to the Vet due to poor oral hygiene and is also a way for you to spend some quality time with your fur baby.

It's a toothbrush for pets. The bristles are charcoal bamboo.It looks well made and it's ergonomic, but I'm not sure that's much of a benefit when it's used in a pets mouth. Our Border Terrier isn't a fan of getting her teeth brushed, but as brushes go this one does just that. Brushes teeth. Nice soft bristles and doesn't seem to upset her gums.

Cassie enjoys getting her teeth brushed with this toothbrush and I find it much easier than the finger brushes (less chance of getting my fingers caught between her teeth!). She's going through a second teething phase at the moment and letting her have a chew on it with teething gel or toothpaste is a good way of helping the obvious discomfort (be vigilant though, she chewed it up a bit when I was distracted). Pity it's so pricey but I will buy another when this one wears out.

Well it feels just like a standard toothbrush really, I can't say whether the charcoal aspect has any huge affect, but the toothbrush itself certainly it does the job intended. It would be nice to have a smaller sized brush on the other side of the larger one to get into smaller nooks n crannies of my labs teeth. Hopefully my stepdad won't take this one to clean his car parts with!!
