DoMatcha, Ceremonial Matcha Powder, Authentic Japanese Green Tea, 1 oz

I am not a connoisseur. Just a person who drinks tea for its health benefits. Here is my personal opinion...The taste is excellent as compared to green tea bags. You will notice the true green color of the tea immediately as compared to the "brownish" tea bag version. This is the gold standard where you measure the taste and appearance of green tea. The key to make a smooth texture is mixing it to a small amount of hot water then mixing and pressing the clumps against the cup until it dissolves. Then add more water. I know the traditional way is using bamboo whisk to make a paste but the technique I use is the simplest economical way I know. The DoMatcha is the brand I chose because my concern is that the radiation level from "exposed" area in Japan might get in their agricultural products such as tea. But checking from DoMatcha website, the location of the green tea farms are upwind and very far from the radiation disaster. In addition, the company do radiation level testing.The only disadvantage is the steep price you have to pay for a premium product. Hope it becomes more affordable as the demand increases.

This is the first matcha powder I've tried, and I think I can safely say this is the one! It's smooth and tastes absolutely delightful with some raw honey and soy milk mixed in. It's also a nice spring green- The coloration you're looking for in a good quality, catechin enriched matcha. I got this version since it was lesser in costs than the organic and I was just starting out trying matcha. I try to always consume organic foods where I can, so I'll definitely be getting the organic from here on.

this Matcha is high in quality and taste. it is fragrant, has an abundance of flavor, no bitterness whatsoever, and it goes down smooth. it comes in a thick sealed foil-type bag inside of a vacuum-sealed tin, and mixed in with the Matcha is a silica gel packet which keeps the Matcha humidity-free and fresh...this sort of packaging it top-notch. it produces a very thick foam when whisked and is a pleasure to consume. see pics i posted for a close-up view.

I drink tea every single day, and have tried teas from numerous countries all around the world. I first tried matcha tea some years ago, but had not again had a really good cup until I tried this one. It is smooth, well blended, and great tasting. This is now my "go to" tea when preparing for a dreaded "long day" !! I will keep this in supply!

Oh my! I read all I could about matcha before I bought it and I am NOT unhappy AT ALL!!! It smells DIVINE and I can't wait to drink it! I opened it up and took a nice long sniff of it and I LOVE the scent! I just HAPPEN to have almond milk so I can make myself a matcha latte but I think I'll do the traditional plain drink first. I am trying so hard to do right by my 61 year old body, trying to treat it kindly these days. I have been trying to eliminate the bad, and ad the good. So this is just one more step for me. I already stopped eating much meat at all, I eat ground lean turkey and chicken breasts, and lots of healthy alternatives. BUY this Matcha!!! It is wonderful!

I just recently started drinking green tea and I purchased a green tea set with some Teas' Tea Matcha. I wanted to try some different brands of matcha to see which one I liked better. I trid the DoMatcha last night and it had a more leafier taste and it was much stronger (I made a face when I first had it) than the Teas' Tea Matcha in my opinion. I'm not a seasoned green tea drinker so I'm not sure if a better quality green tea tastes stronger or not. Even though I made a face when I drank it I'm still giving this 5 stars because the product is everything it says it is. I can't give a bad review just because I'm not used to the taste.

I have purchased non-ceremonial grade DoMatcha and it was bitter. This ceremonial grade matcha is fresh, smooth and has no bitterness. I would purchase again.

This Matcha tea isn't the best you can find in the market however, when it comes to taste, this DoMatcha is very mild and doesn't have too strong flavour which I've noticed that lots of people don't like.If you are new to Matcha tea and you don't want to spend too much on a super premium ceremonial grade Matcha, this one will do the job for you.In terms of the after effect of this Matcha, you will notice a great energy boost and will improve your metabolism.Im drinking Matcha everyday around the afternoon, just before going for a workout.I don't like drinking my Matcha after or before a meal. I love it on empty stomach so I can really feel its working.I will buy it again, especially when i have guests coming over.
