This stainless steel calendar is of good quality, and THE SIZE IS huge. The stainless steel is food grade stainless steel which is nice. The holes in the strainer are tiny. I like this because it gives you more options, more things that you can strain, not just spaghetti or pasta but smaller herbs, seeds or something like that. In addition, It is lightweight, not thick stainless steel, but lighter stainless steel.I have used it many times and it works quite well for pretty much anything I have put in it up until this point in time. The look is attractive as colanders and strainers go. It appears durable enough for long time use and the quality is good. I prefer old-timey, heavy tools in the kitchen, but did not want to pay the much more expensive price for such.I hope my review helped you decide on a huge, light-weight, quality colander with small drain holes that won't cost a lot. Heavy duty, beautifully crafted and exceptionally large

It's a bowl with holes in it. Water goes thru, spaghetti stays inside.Be warned, it's really wide - which is clearly advertised - but we have to store it in our widest cabinet.It was dropped once and has a small dent in it now.Doesn't affect the function, but I wonder how many dings and dents it will get.

We tend to make a lot of spaghetti and the standard collendar was just too small. It has small holes all over as in the picture. It is very sturdy and very well made. I highly recommend this product.

I love the fact that rice or noodles can’t fall through the cracks like my other one
