Bandai MG 1/100 Mobile Suit Gundam Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom] (Japan Import)

Kit arrived super fast and in excellent condition. I'm excited to add this blocky boi to my Gunpla stockpile. I didn't even know about the TR-1 Hazel until the day I bought the kit. It's time for a backstory deep dive. It's sure to be a lot of fun.

I've been meaning to replace parts for this kit since I bought it during its initial run but Bandai hasn't reissued it. So I got this kit to replace a few broken assemblies and kitbash parts from the junker model.

Admittedly, I'm a bit biased because this is one of my favorite mobile suit designs. It's got great proportions and decent articulation. The downside is that being P-Bandai and based on the 2005 Gundam Mk-2 color separation won't match the standards of a top tier modern kit. On the plus side it includes waterslides and the complete loadout for the Hazel Custom. In terms of scale, it's slightly taller than it should be, but it does have an imposing presence.If you're a big fan of this mobile suit, I think you'll be happy with the kit. For everyone else, however, there are better options out there, especially given current pricing.
