Philips Sonicare 4100 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush, Deep Pink

1000% my favorite toothbrush I’ve ever purchased. The battery life is outstanding I think I’ve charged it twice ever. It does a great job of cleaning and the thing stands up to some beating in my luggage while traveling. Plus it’s pink so that’s a plus!

I got the pink one rechargeable. It’s very small considering I have the original one and it was like holding a handle of a rake or something. It’s very wide. This one is perfect. I like having so many different options for the brushes. The charging station is nice because it’s small and you just set the toothbrush right on it. It comes with a plastic cap that goes over the brush to protect it from whatever’s flying around the bathroom. For being something so small it has multiple functions to it to help in your dental care.

I have had the same Sonicare for about 11 years, and it’s still working. The original I have is a much more expensive sonicare than this one but when I tell you this toothbrush does the job well!! It was just time for an upgrade and I was worried about something a little less expensive not being good/ but this is great! The only thing about the pricier versions- they usually come with a wall charger and a case, but I didn’t care because this one will be my home toothbrush. It comes with charging cord - you just need your own box. A lot more lightweight than my more costly one too- which is nice

I originally rates this a 5 but right after posting it I ran into an issue. The quality of the product is not as good as the Sonicare I owned previously. I can not turn it on without using something to press the on button. My finger no longer works. I have to replace it for this reason. I will buy another Sonicare just not this model since it didn't last very long. Durability is the only issue.

charge lasts about a week with brushing twice a day which is perfect for me. it has a timer for all 4 quadrants so every 30 seconds, so you know when to switch sides. it only vibrates, no circular motion but my dentist told me the vibration is what actually helps the most. works way better than a manual toothbrush. i’ve had for a while and it’s worked great. switching out the new heads is so easy too

Have two now because the first one wouldn't charge with my charger. User error and charger's fault, not this item. Have the second in my travel case

It was my first time using an electric toothbrush; to be honest, there is an incredible difference compared to a traditional toothbrush. My teeth feel much cleaner.

I bought this toothbrush a little over three years ago and really fell in love with it. This was my first electric toothbrush, although my partner has been a longtime user of rotating electric toothbrushes. I always found those too loud and felt that the round brush heads were less comfortable and anatomical for cleaning, so when I finally decided to switch to electric, Sonicare seemed like the obvious choice for me. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The brush is very well made overall, and the clean is much better than what I was able to achieve with a regular toothbrush. The battery life was incredible, easily lasting 14+ days with twice-daily brushing, which made it great for traveling. I also loved the two-minute timer. It wasn't until I started using it that I realized I probably hadn't been brushing for nearly long enough before! The brush-head replacement light was another game changer for someone who always forgets when it's time to replace a toothbrush, and I also appreciated Philips' program for automatically delivering replacement heads. For three years, I really had no complaints about this brush. I easily considered it one of my best purchases. Unfortunately, about a month ago, the power button started to feel sandy or gritty. I quickly realized that the soft material covering the button had started to peel and degrade. The on/off button is made from a softer material than the rest of the toothbrush body, and despite taking good care of the brush, that material eventually began breaking down. I taped over the button when I noticed the problem in an attempt to prevent further damage, but apparently the seal wasn't sufficient. Moisture eventually seems to have gotten inside, possibly just from normal bathroom and shower humidity. The toothbrush now turns itself on randomly, sometimes won't turn on when I actually need it, and generally behaves unpredictably. What makes this particularly disappointing is that the toothbrush itself worked perfectly for those three years. I didn't have battery problems, motor problems, or declining performance. A relatively small design choice—the soft material used for the power button—appears to have rendered an otherwise perfectly functional appliance unusable. It also happened only a few months after my extended warranty expired. I'm someone who tries to buy things for the long term and is very conscious of the waste created by replacing products unnecessarily, so I'm uncomfortable with a toothbrush like this having such a short usable life because of one deteriorating component. I still strongly prefer Sonicare's cleaning technology, which is what makes this so frustrating. I loved this toothbrush while it lasted and would otherwise happily buy another one. But I'm now considering switching to a competitor, especially since my husband's electric toothbrush has been going for more than five years without a similar issue. Excellent toothbrush and cleaning experience, but the durability of the power-button material is a significant weak point in an otherwise great product.

I've been using a manual toothbrush for years. I never felt like I could get my teeth clean enough with them, but I didn't want to shell out the money for a pricey electric toothbrush. After having gum recession from brushing too hard, I decided to try an electric toothbrush out. I bought it for $55, and honestly, I love it so much I would've paid $85 for it. It works great, it's comfortable to hold, super easy to use and it gets my teeth so nice and clean. It makes brushing so much easier, and I love the pressure sensor, it stops me from brushing so hard. The heads are a wee bit pricey to replace, but they only need to be swapped every 3 months, and all of the Philips ones are interchangeable. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and only had to charge it once so far. I love the pink colour, and I love that it doesn't have any nooks or crannies to trap water and grow mold like toothbrushes 15 years ago had. Highly recommend, it's the best purchase I've made all year.

At the beginning first few uses, it needed charging after 3 days, not 2 weeks as advertised. Then after about 3 weeks, it refused to charge and not usable anymore. Waste of money..hope the seller can honor basic exchange policy for such blatant lemon.

Can't fault it. Very good value for money. The only thing I'm not used to, is it being much lighter than all the previous models I used (and currently use). This feels kind of 'hollow' and very light, while the older models are more solid and heavier. But my partner prefers that. Otherwise, like I said, does the job, and good value for money.
