Very nice collection of sponges. The individual sponges are larger than I thought they would be. All of them measured exactly as in the description, despite the fact that all of them were dry. I had read on the website of a different supplier that the measurements were made when the sponges were wet and expanded. But not in this case. This supplier is representing the sponges exactly as I received them.The 3 silk sponges in this set have a very fine texture, more fine than any art sponges I own. I will use them to add very fine texture to portions of my paintings that need more refined shadowing. The wool sponge is a little over 4", and has a lovely soft, almost dappled texture that I can't wait to try out. The 3 synthetic sponges have a texture that is in-between the other two. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the value and the quality of this collection of sponges. Recommend

I use my sponges for many different projects. They are a top quality sponge. Will order again.

I think it's a good value for the money spent they could be a bit bigger but still very nice
