Should just say Disco Ball. It's not a light-a traditional disco ball and I love mine!

I think it could be used outdoors. I would take it down in inclement weather. The mirror pieces are glued on so if they fall off you could probably just glue them back on with appropriate glue.

Q: How do you hang these?

We place ours on a shepard's hook and tied it onto the hook with wire to keep it from blowing away outdoors
