Igniter won't work on a cold stove.
I really liked this stove when unboxed. The valve area is a durable brass component. The pot supports are quite strong and can be used folded for smaller pots or opened to support a good size pot or pan. It also used two sealing rings for a safe fit to the fuel bottle.I gave it only four stars because the piezo igniter would not light the stove when cold. Once in use I could shut the stove and the igniter would work, but it could not light a cold stove in spite of producing a visible spark. It's not my Pocket Rocket deluxe, but for the price it is still a nice stove.

Works fine — makes a few exaggerated claims
When I go camping or backpacking, I usually take a Jetboil knockoff (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013PRD4IE/) that has served me extremely well over the years. However, as I've started to do more backpacking, I'm thinking more about lightweight alternatives. So I wanted to try this pocket-sized stove to see how it performs. Here's what I found...SPECSThe product description says it's "2.5*1*3 inches", but my own measurements came out a little different.• The box is 2.5" wide x 1.5" deep x 3" tall . Even if you remove it from the box, the stove folds up to 1.35" deep.• The box + stove weighs 120.7 grams.I think that size and weight seems appropriate for a stove with built-in igniter. There are smaller stoves with no igniter, but then you have to carry and use a separate lighter to get the stove going.BUILD QUALITYThe plastic case is minimally okay. It will protect the stove from getting crushed when it's packed up, but don't imagine that it's waterproof or anything like that. It's just a basic plastic case with a slide-on lid.The stove screws onto the fuel canister tightly and felt well seated and stable. The valve that turns the gas on or off is made of brass, which is reassuring. The rest appears to be made of steel. There are fold-out arms that hold your cup or pan over the flame. Those arms are probably the most annoying part of the construction. They are held in place by friction, so the ones on my stove always seem to be either a little too stiff or too loose. It's annoying when setting it up or putting it away, but not a deal-breaker for using it.The arms were big enough to handle my 500ml titanium camping cup and my 10" camping pan. The cup was obviously more stable since it fits entirely on the arms. You would need to be more careful if you're using something as big as a 10" pan, but I think you *could* do it if you wanted to.The piezo igniter worked immediately for me. No drama there.COOKING POWERThere is an adjustment handle for setting the flame. As on many of these stoves, there really isn't much range to the setting. The product description talks up how you can set the flame anywhere between simmer and boil, but it's not that fine grain. Anyway, it's on par with most camping stoves I've used.I used a titanium mug to boil 450 ml of water at the highest temp this stove could muster. It took 4:10 to reach boiling. That's a far cry from the promise to "boil 1.1 liter of water in just 3-4 minutes". It's also far more realistic. Jetboil-style stoves are able to get speeds like what this product claims because they protect and direct the heat more efficiently. For an open stove like this, I think ~4 minutes for half a liter is pretty normal.CONCLUSIONI will probably not use this stove in the backcountry for two reasons. First, I like the speed I get from my Jetboil-style stove. Second, the arms on this stove are so fiddly that I think it would be annoying to deal with when I'm tired and hungry on the trail. That said, this device seemed to work fine and will probably suit the needs of some folks just fine.I hope this review was helpful for you!
