Very easy to set up and take down. High quality and sturdy. A lot of adjustment options to change the height of the canvas or the easel. The drawer is very convenient and large. Our set came with a mixing pallet and paints and brushes, all of which are great quality. Very happy with this! Bought for my 8 year old and she is enjoying it.

Truly an artist’s favorite—this easel is beyond compare, lovely French blue paint, easy to manually manipulate to achieve different heights and the drawer holds so many art supplies. It is well worth the cost!

My easel came broken😭 however I fixed it with glue and tape. The front left leg came down in two pieces.. must have been a material handler error.. but I am very happy it’s here and I can finally use it🥰 besides the broken leg, it’s very nice and the color of it is beautiful. Sturdy, but very fragile at the same time!🙃They sent me a second one !

It was missing a bolt (or so I thought, until a colleague at the art studio where I paint found it lodged in the drawer.) She helped me figure out how to keep the back leg from dangling all the time. It still doesn't hold in place when it's being carried, but that's fairly minor.Overall, the easel is sturdy and stretches to hold fairly large canvases. So far, I've only used it indoors since it's sinter but this spring and summer I plan to do some plein air work.The strap that comes with it is kind of flimsy, so I plan to buy a padded guitar strap.The kit I bought came with art supplies so it's a good value/ would make an excellent gift for an artist.

The media could not be loaded. I have not used it yet. But it is so pretty. Easy enough to open up and I love that I can fold it up to a compact size when not in use. It has a convenient drawer for storing paints and brushes, and also came with lots of goodies and a long strap for travel.

This is a well-constructed **lovely** easel - if I had room in my apartment, I would leave it out all the time - it's that attractive. As my apartment is extremely small, however, this serves exactly the function I purchased it for - it is completely compact, and is easy to set-up and break down with very little time/effort. The legs ar adjustable, so you can set it to whatever height you need - standing, sitting in a chair, etc. Although it's a little large, it also functions quite well as a table-top easel, provided you have enough room on your desk or work surface. I didn't realize that not only does it come with a palette, it also includes a nylon strap to attach to the brass fitting on top, so it's ready to go for outdoor paining (I know there's a fancy french term for this, but you know what I mean:-) ). The price for this easel is more than fair - it's a third or less than what I would have paid at a store where I live, leaving me money to buy more art supplies to use it with!

Packed well, shipped promptly, as described, good purchase. Artist granddaughter used it immediately.
