Works well for Stockton 5 wood stove
Easy to cut and fit. Just make sure that all the old residue has been removed from the door, and the old glue dust has been vacuumed and the metal has been degreased before squirting the glue ( which has been thoroughly shaken) into the groove.Fix the measured rope into the groove, then close the door fully, to help the rope seal.Light the stove and slowly increase the temp by adding more fuel and opening the vents.You may find you need to reglue the rope in 6 months, depending on its use. Our first rope could be re glued twice, but we replaced the original rope after 4 years of regular cold weather use.It's cheap enough to do, and really the only consumable that needs replacing as and when.

I had to replace the glass, glass rope and I also replaced the 14mm door rope while I was at it. The 14mm kit came with ample rope, glue and tape. Easy to fit, sticks well, just the job.

Seems ok - yet to use stove to see how well it seals the door. Delivery by Amazon was late (not the sellers fault), but the item was missing the tape used to seal the cut end of the rope after fitting.
