Purchased for Scout Pinewood Derby. I made dark chocolate & white chocolate cars. I even painted the headlights. The Scouts loved them. The molds cleaned well.

I used Wilton candy melts in red and black in these molds. The candy re-hardened pretty quickly and came out very easy. I liked that there was a variety car car shapes and they weren't all the same. So glad there were 2, made the process alot faster

Bought this to remold crayons works great for that.

Was a great addition to my 5 year old's birthday party. We dyed chocolate and made different color chocolate cars and they were a perfect item to put in bags for guests to take with them.

These are very cute. They are flimsy, as someone else noted…but for what there are- I’ve used two different types of chocolate and while not every detail comes through, they’ve turned out well enough that anyone would know it’s a car.However…they have this smell to them? And I can taste it. It’s a very chemically smell. I have washed them several times, and made three batches with two different types of chocolate. The chocolates have a very detectable chemically flavor after using these, and it tastes like what the mold smells like. Thankfully I tasted one from the first batch, I wasn’t going to, because they were cute and I needed a lot of them- but I did taste it, and then I threw the rest away. Washed them a few more times, but the same thing happened with the second batch (but with that one, I had three other people taste them to see if it was just me- it wasn’t. And when my son is turning down more chocolate, it’s a problem lol.). Washed them some more, and tried again, but the third batch is about to go in the garbage as well.They have been washed AT LEAST a dozen times now. I don’t know what else to do, it’s getting too expensive to keep trying to make this work.If you are buying these for some kind of craft, they will probably work for you. If you are buying them for something you want other people to eat? I would not use them. Or at the very least, taste the cars before you try to give them to anyone else.
