I bought this to cut mosaic tile and worked pretty well. For the most part my cuts were straight, but I realized that if your score and the tool are not perfectly aligned then you'll essentially get a broken tile. It challenging because the mesh on the mosaic kept getting in the way. After some practice I was able to get it right, so my recommendation is to practice on a few throw-away tiles with the back mesh in place and use a straightedge to make the initial score. Also, the underside of the tool needs to be perfectly aligned with the score line on the topside. Then it works great. You get the nice cotton gloves as well. It's a nice quality, week packaged tool with good weight on it. I am pleased with the results.

I used this for glass tile. It was fine for the small amount of tiny tiles I had to cut, but I couldn't imagine doing a large amount of tile with it. It required a good amount of strength to split the tile. It also wasn't super accurate because you can easily waiver or your balance changes.

I was working with 1" square tile and I wanted to cut the corner off to fit in a tight location. I was not strong enough to get the tool to do the cut. So I had to fall back to my wire cutters which worked great. I will look to sharpen the tool and try the tool on a old tile piece.

You hard to keep it straight so the cuts are correct about 50% of the time

Didn't work so well on glass mosaics but worked well on ceramic mosaics with some practice.

I had one of these for years and Love it. I bought this one as a replacement and it works just as well. I use it for Glass. I haven't tried it on tile.

Saw some videos of this product and I have to say that they didn't work at all. Tossed and invested in better tools. Waste of time and money.

I haven't used these yet, But it's all I'll need to get started! They fill very sturdy, and look of good quality.
