Perfect fit, compatible with simple installation
The media could not be loaded. Small enough to be hidden, out of the way, secret squirrel. Works well, a simple device that pairs well with my Ferrofish Pulse 16.

Perfect 32 channel interface!
Been looking for an interface for my used Yamaha M7CL-48 Board that came with two ADAT cards. This little interface is a lot bigger in performance than physical size. Perfect for my needs. I now have a full blown 32 channel, 16 bus studio at a reasonable price!

In conjunction with the TotalMix software, this, simply, works a treat!
I upgraded to the RME Digiface from a 12-year-old RME Babyface which had served me well over the years. What I loved about the Babyface was that it had ADAT in and out enabling an additional 8 channels of 24bit/48K audio, giving me a total of 10 channels. The butter on the bread, so to speak, was RME's TotalMix FX software which, in my experience, is a lovely virtual mixer interface to work with compared to, say, Focusrite's Control interface. As I wanted to expand the number of inputs and outputs for recording and playback (I have three 8-channel ADAT devices), upgrading to the Digiface was a no-brainer mainly due to the functionality of RME's TotalMix software. The reason for only four stars is that the USB input is on the same side as the headphones output - it would be much neater, in my opinion, if the USB jack was on the same side as the digital inputs/outputs.

Amazing sound, low latency and routing possibilities (digital patch bay)
Amazing sound, low latency and routing possibilities (digital patch bay). At home with up to 32 analog I/Os, or on the road as a simple headphones' amp. Not compatible with iOS devices.

Sound Quality via headphone output is big surprise
I have a much more expensive RME ADI FS2 DAC that I have been happy with for 3 years. I purchased the Digiface USB just for a travel convenience and the need for a RME Digicheck compatible device. I use TotalMix FX for volume control.Well the quality of the headphone output of the Digiface USB blew away the headphone SQ of the ADI FS2Who would have thought

A lifesaver for old Firewire/ADAT interfaces.
I purchased the Digiface USB so I could continue using my old Firewire/ADAT interfaces, works great although the TotalMix FX mixing program takes some time to understand, sound quality is great and it is very solidly built. the unit I receive had no shrink wrap and the USB cable had been opened, likely a customer return but at $50 less than other sellers it is acceptable.

Strictly USB 2.0
As much as i know this is a great product I had to return mine. This strictly runs on USB 2.0.I would be glad to re purchase one if they make this work in USB 3.0 or USB type C.
