Do they not have sprayers? It sounds like I have to buy them separately?

I’m not sure what you mean by sprayers, but the water sprays from the small black piece and you can adjust the radius and narrow or widen the the coverage.

How high do they pop up? Do I understand that they have no insides?

These are just the nozzles for a sprinkler head, NOT THE SPRINKLER HEAD. They replace an existing nozzle on a pop-up sprinkler. Hight of the pop up will be whatever that you have on your current sprinkler head.

The screw on top does not move to adjust distance of arc. Is that not adjustable?

There are two adjustments. The radius (distance) the spray goes is adjusted with the screw at the top. The arc (coverage area) (0-360 degrees) is adjusted with the knurled ring below the tan part.

will these fit on a rainbird 1800 body?
