I had never read Lewis' works before and became a HUGE fan while reading these. Greatly inspiring.

Do you want to read extraordinarily well-written, clever, informative Catholic apologetics that is neither preachy nor pedantic? This C.S. Lewis collection is offered at an amazing price, that makes it worthy purchase even if you are only going to read a few of the volumes in here. And if you are only going to read a few of the volumes in here, you do know that you need to start with the classic "Screwtape Letters," which was written in the early years of WWII, before the full horrors of Nazi Germany had been revealed (or the full horrors of Soviet communism had been revealed either). "Screwtape Letters" view on the agnostic elite, dismissive of mere Christianity, sounds like -- to use a very apropos cliche -- ripped from today's headlines! In other words, it may have been written in the early 1940s, but it speaks to us in the latter 2010s just as eloquently, perhaps more so.

Nice set. They come in a box that they can be shelved in. Great gift!
