The Paducah was a nice color wood. The shape of the knifes edge was excellent. Handle was comfortable.The edge of the knife needed to resharpened. A bit crude. The steel took a great sharp edge well.

Okay. At first I wasn't sure what yo expect in the handle.This is for my mother in law for Xmas.It arrived early, was in great packaging along with soo much bubble wrap. I was happy.The sheath is super nice, feels sturdy. I literally lost my breath when I pulled it out of the sheath. The blade is beautiful, very sharp! So beautiful! Feels very sturdy. The handle isn't as blocky as it looks in the picture. It's definitely not made for anyone who has very large/wide hands. But the woof is smooth and very vibrant.

I've used it to cut pizza and frozen meat works great for both with little effort

The Ulu has a good weight to it and it cuts with very little effort. I just ordered the round bowel like cutting board to go with it. I will report back when I've used it more.

This is a beautiful piece! The belt sheath leave a little to be desired. I added a piece of closed cell foam to keep it from rocking and exposing the sharp blade and possible injury. (See photos) Easier than moving the snap, for now. it was sharpened with a double bevel rather than a single bevel they were traditionally made with. I don’t mind really and could change if I wanted. It’s fine for my needs. I will use for skinning large game. When I go to Alaska next year I’ll use the traditional and see if I wan to to change it.Very nice “Woman’s knife”!
