Neogen Dermalogy Carrot Deep Clear Remover Oil Pad, 150ml / 60 Counts

Great stuff but wish the actual cotton pads are hard to grip while cleaning your face they’re either too thin or need to be thicker

I actually really like these DERMALOGY by NEOGENLAB carrot deep clear remover oil pads. I was initially shocked when I grabbed the first pad and felt how oily it was. When I ordered this, my brain mixed up the words and read it as oil remover pads, so I didn’t realize they were actually oil pads!You get 60 pads in a semi-transparent orange plastic jar with screw on lid. They are soft and nicely saturated with the oil. There is an nearly nonexistent fresh scent that I like.Honestly, I have never used a product quite like this and I was so surprised at how nice and lightweight the oil on these pads feel. After wiping my entire face, my skin didn’t even look as oily as it felt somehow- must be the type they use. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but it seems to clean and remove it very well. After I finished, I washed my face with a cleanser and then dried. I could still feel a touch of the oil on my skin without looking oily- just felt nice, soft, and moisturized.There seems to be some great ingredients in this product, and I really like that it is clean beauty, with no animal testing, and does not include artificial fragrance, coloring or alcohol.There is a section in the description that says ‘how to use’ and shows pictures of a double sided pad with pocket for your finger. I think the company accidentally put those pictures on this product page. These pads do not have pockets, which I don’t care for anyway. Those pocketed pads look like their lemon bright PHA gauze peeling pads which are also nice.If you wear a ton of makeup, I think one pad would probably be good for you. I really don’t wear much at all, so even half a pad is great for me. I wish these pads were perforated for convenience, but I have been cutting them each time before I use.Anyway, I really enjoy using this product and I would definitely recommend it to others!!! Nice oil makeup remover pads. These are cool, because are loaded with oil and carrrots ( a few other ingredients). Carrots are pretty good for your skin I’ve read before ( makes a good tanning oil spray apparently).Anywho, I will say the pads I received were not as pictured. They aren’t mittens the carrot version at least - they need to update the stock photos.Also the main reason for dock in star is it says to rinse your face after application and sometimes after a long day and wearing makeup. I just want to swipe it off and be done. I didn’t realize this requires to wash/rinse your face afterward. Nonetheless, they work and would be ideal for waterproof makeup removal since it’s oil based. It’s just the extra step is something I’m not looking for in makeup remover wipe.

The pads on these wipes were too abrasive for my sensitive skin. I used the textured side first to remove my makeup and followed up with the smoother side of the pad. The oil from this was really slick and needed more than water to wash off. I needed to follow up with a facial cleanser to really get all the oil off. Afterwards I followed up with a toner and the pad I used for the toner still picked up residual make up on it. I'll have to pass these makeup remover pads onto someone else because it is too rough for my sensitive skin and doesn't clean up all the makeup requiring me to follow up with additional cleaning steps.

I have never used carrot facial products before and wanted to try these. There was no strong scent which was nice and they seemed gentle. The pads were soft and moved easily over my skin but they were very thin which I also didn't expect. They were a bit oiler than I expected and the oil residue stayed on my skin even after I took a shower. I had to get a makeup removing washcloth and scrub my face to get the oil off. Now that I know how they work I will be better prepared, but this is an extra step I wasn't expecting.
