Ductless mini-split protection

Great product, easy installation
Perfect! The DIY installation was straight forward and basically very easy. No issues at all. I did pigtail the wires so there was only one wire attached to each of the two connecting lugs. I also like the fact that there is a visable clue that the unit is functining properly via the green LED light. The AC company I use for maintenace cleaning made a very compelling discussion for having an HVAC surge protector installed. But unfortunately they were quoting over $300 to install one. The ease of the installation and the cost of this actual product made this purchase a perfect alternative to the AC company.

Fixed Blown Transformers
New electronic door bell camera kept blowing the door bell transformers in the attic; my installer suggested this. He installed and it fixed the problem; no more blown door bell transformers and we have a functioning electronic door bell camera now.

Cheap insurance
Stuff like this is hard to review due to the nature of how it works. If it's doing its job, then you will never have a problem, thus wondering if you ever needed it in the first place. All I can say is that it has great specs, is easy to install, and is cheap insurance if you live anywhere there are surges in the power grid. I live in the south where the lightning will kill all that you love and hold dear (air conditioner) so these are cheap insurance to prevent the worst.
