I think it does leave the skin a little dry, so following up with moisturizer is a necessity. There is also not a strong smell, which is great for the more sensitive babies!

When my son was discharged home from the nicu after almost 3 months he had baby acne on his face. It wasn't severe but it drove me nuts. His grandma brought me a bottle of the Cetephil wash to use on his little face & it cleared it right up! i have since purchased this set myself. We have went through several bottles of this & it works wonders for baby acne! It's not super expensive compared to other popular recommendations which I love. It's thick but not too thick, we get a good lather & he gets very clean. The lotion is a lightweight moisturizer & it keeps his skin from being dry! All and all I absolutely love this product for my baby!
