Jumbo Coil From Planet X-cellent!
This is a coil cord on steroids! X-cellent, dude! Jumbo-sized coils--about 2X as big as a standard coil. Heavy-duty thickness + weightier than average. But i like it. My picky guitar-playing boyfriend looked at the construction + the solder connections + pronounced it "Very good quality." That's good enough for me. It makes smooth, clean, noiseless connections. No crackles. The only weird hum to be heard is my playing. I expect this sucker to last + work for years which is great for this X-cellent price. U can pay more but probably not get anything better. The purple color rocks. Cool looking. My bass is happy with this heavy-weight cord. If you're tired of cords getting crackly, noisy + becoming unreliable after alot of use + abuse, this may be the right cord for you. And i think this will look good on-stage too. Something different. Jumbo coil from planet X!

Sparkly - and about 7' long.
They are expensive and I am not sure how they sound compared to our studio cables. We got them to have fancy multicolored cords for our crazy Keytars. My biggest disappointment was not realizing they are advertised by cable length uncoiled - not actual length when coiled (which is all the time). So what we thought would be 30' cables are actually 7' cables. Maybe, downhill and with the wind, you could stretch one out to 25' feet but as soon as you get 10' from your amp the cable unplugs itself from the tension. It would be handy if they would advertise the fact that 30' is only the length if you carefully remove all the coils and hold it flat on the ground with 10 of your buddies - but normal usable length is about 7'.

MASSIVE!
This coiled instrument cable works great, very quiet, no crackling, good length (for my needs), and - MASSIVE! In the photo you can see the comparison between the purple Kirlin cable and three other '70s/'80s-vintage coiled instrument cables - the difference is fairly amazing! The coils on the Kirlin are nearly 1" in diameter, as opposed to 1/2"-3/4" on my other cables. Oh, and it weighs almost exactly 1.5 lbs., so don't plan on swingin' yer axe around much... But it works very well, sturdy, quality jacks, well-insulated, practically noiseless. Probably best for guitars with a top-mounted jack, or secure it through the guitar strap on a Les Paul or similar (a good idea, regardless). Great color, too!

Good heavy cable
Cable is colorful for sure! As others have mentioned, this cable is heavy and big, to the point my strap keeps coming off (because you have to loop it around the strap or it may come unplugged if you stretch it). The fix will be a set of strap locks, so I'm keeping the cable. I don't know about durability. It worked well for one show, but it seems heavy enough to last a long time. My other curly cable is going strong after a year or so. Good value.

It is thiccc!
It is a coiled cable that does it’s job, the purple cable and gold ends looks pretty nice, and it is built really well. The cable has a nice feeling rubber coating, and it looks like it has some sort of steel cable or tubing around the core of the cable to help keep its shape. I always make sure I do not have it tangled when I put it away, and I will push the coils back together so they don’t stretch too much over time. It being the thickness that it is does make it heavy though, you definitely should put the cable through your guitar strap to avoid putting all the weight of it on your input jack, but you should be doing that anyways. So I recommend it! It is cheaper than all the name brand cables but it still feels great!

Way too heavy and thick
Wow this a very very heavy and thick cable. I have several different brands of coil cables to compare with this one, (Fender, Daddario, Lava, Ernie Ball) This cable though weighs me down too much, throws off movement dragging it around. Seems good quality, color, sound but I can not get past the weight and large coil size. Good price, quality if the weight thickness and extra large coil size are no issue for you.

This Cable weighs too much.
As a Guitarist that's used hundreds of cables over my career, this has got to be THE most heavy cable I've bought. I gave it 4 stars because it's well made , but if you use a light Guitar say an SG. it will almost certainly pull on your input jack. The coiled wire is just to thick , it makes me think about going wireless !

Great Cable
Great cable. Been using and brutalizing it and it’s been nothing but excellent. Will buy again.Only one complaint if I’m being really picky. Heat shrink on the connection could be a bit tighter on the right angle end. I hit it with a heat gun and now it’s fine. For the price, I’m super okay with that.
