Not 8 x 8!
I didn't notice until I had measured a bunch of stuff that the square is actually 8 1/4 inch. There is a margin going down 2 sides. I don't get it! All my stuff is off center now since I didn't notice it until I had completely finished a coupe of things that need to be 8 inch square (which is why I bought this). I thought it looked off but trusted the tool. I feel dumb but also confused about why there is a margin on 2 sides. And that the description says 8 x 8. Not cool! It is fine for measuring though and would be good for 45 degree angles.

Great tool for quilters
Love this! Just made a baby rag quilt with this and it is just the perfect size.

The 2 triangles are held together by tape.
I like that it folds in half. Not sure how long the tape will hold the 2 sides together.

Taped together and inaccurate. Disappointed
Not what I had anticipated from a Fiskars item. Two triangle rulers taped together with what looks like basic shipping tape. The triangles do not align when folded causing innacurate measurements. Sloppy taping job, with bubbles. From Fiskars I expect true hinges, not tape, and accuracy. Too expensive for junk. Did not buy on Amazon (purchased at JoAnn Fabrics), but reviewing here because I feel others should be aware quality before buying.
