Select White Sugar Crystals 14oz - Value Size-pack 3

I was wondering how these would compare to the Wilton sanding sugar. Chef's Select is on the left. Grains are larger and more dense. Did a great job and looked beautiful on my sugar cookies. Didn't seem to be as sparkly, but I also didn't break a tooth when I had some. Worked really well for us!

Husband bought me a beautiful range with two ovens, one is convection bake. So I had to start baking and wanted a larger sugar crystal to sprinkle on tops of my amazing scones. This provides the perfect crunch. I never knew this even existed until amazon. I am so happy I did, everybody who eats my baked goods asks me how I made the crunchy larger sugar crystals.. 😉

These sugar crystals are large and visible. they may not be as clear and shiny as some, but I like that they do not have any wax in them, so they feel better to eat, just sugar. I make scones for family and myself, but, my husband started eating them when I started using these crystals on the top, so it appears they must add some visual appeal that wasn't there before, and I have to make them more often now.

This takes my home baking to "the next level". Beautiful finish when applied on top of home baked muffins/pies/pastry.

One of my favorite thigs to bake is scones which are best with a final dusting of coarse sugar. This product is perfect. I like being able to sprinkle right from the bottle and it is the perfect size. This will be great for a number of baking touches like sprinkling on sugar cookies, etc. It also came promptly and I feel is fairly priced - without a trip to a specialty grocery/cooking supply store.

Delivery was 2 days later than guaranteed upon ordering. Wasn’t notified of delayed delivery until the original delivery day which was 2 days after the order was placed.Quality is Meh, more the size and consistency of kosher salt. Not terrible but not the best. Probably best for the home baker but quantity and quality for the price? There is much better out there...

Love this finishing sugar. Big crystals that don’t melt so the top of my pastries look elegant

I am extremely happy that I finally found this particular decorative sugar. I love how I found a 14oz container for only $8! What an amazing price! And you get so much! This sugar adds so much flavor to my homemade blueberry muffins. I love this product!
