Highly Recomended! I first purchased these floor mats in 2020 and I am now buying more to expand the area. They helped me transform 2/3rds of my garage into a bonus room. I chose these for the reviews, colors, and flexability of use. After having a wall put in to section off my garage, I used these mats on the cold, stained, hard cement floor and they worked like magic. Even in the winter the mats create a floor surface that is much warmer and comfortable to walk on. Additionally they help by providing a insulating barrier, so in the winter the room stays warmer. When it is warm in the summer the mats also stay a comfortable temperature and haven't become hot. I used some double sided tape for mats to secure some of the pieces to the ground along some of the edges where they connect together. This was very helpful in heavy walking areas or in places where furnature is moved around. The tape also helps prevent the mats from lifting up. I remove it with a putty knife. I reciently had a very heavy cabnit full of clothes moved across the foam squares and dispite the foam getting caught on it's bottom corner and moving out of shape, it survived without any damage. These are real knee savers too! Much more comfortable to kneel and crawl around on, even compared to carpet. They also clean up very easily with the vaccume, broom, mop, or a damp rag. The vaccume did not damage them on carpet mode and the dirt stays on the surface.I ended up using these under some low pile rugs as well, to define the areas and decorate. My garage refridgerator/freezer was on the cement floor and leaked, sending water under the edge of the matts. I noticed when I stepped on the edge, but the water did not soak into the foam It was easy to pull apart the mats to dry the floor. I have spilled liquids directly onto the places where the mats link together and no water liquid leaked onto the floor below, even when walked on. WOW, this is great stuff!

This review is for We Sell Mats 3/8 Inch Thick Multipurpose Exercise Floor Mat, Sky Blue, 25 tiles. This is perhaps a non-standard use of this product. We have an aging German Shepherd who is losing use of his hind legs and was freaking out because he was slipping when trying to walk on our ceramic floor tiles. At first we laid down a series of small floor mats and yoga mats; this was ok for the dog, but not so good for human members of the household who started tripping over uneven edges. So, we decided to try these interlocking foam mats and create a textured pathway that would work for both canines and humans. We (all species involved) were so pleased with the outcome that we immediately purchased a second batch of the same with which we extended the pathways so as to interconnect all areas of regular canine traffic. A few things to note: * Each mat is an identical square with jigsaw-puzzle type edges which interlock. They fit together well when lined up edge to edge in precise, regular squares and rectangles. * The two sets we purchased were of the same color and interlocked well with each other. * Time will tell, but for now, the product appears to be well made and should stand up to regular traffic. * The surface is easy to clean. * The surface stays flat and inter-connected; we have no issues with segments lifting or separating from each other. * The system can fit into an irregular space by cutting sections of mat with a sharp knife or scissors. * The edge strips come in two different, matching shapes (a left and a right) which are combined to form a continuous straight edge and a good outside corner. They do not combine to form a good inside corner (such as with an L-shape); but this is easily resolved by snipping off a small overlapping edge with scissors. * There is not a precise fit if you make a branch which is not aligned center to center of the mats. Again, a few snips with scissors can remedy this.

Over the past two years we've owned a total of 7 mats I think at this point from four different brands. So I think it's safe to say I've had more than my share of experience when it comes to foam mats. These have a good color variety, but that's about it. These mats are almost identical to another set we have by a brand called Norsk, with the following differences: * Norks Mats are much cheaper (we got ours in 6pks from Kmart a while ago, no longer available there, but they are sold in 4pks directly from Norsk for $16; free shipping if you buy 2 or more; so you'd get 8 pieces for just $2 more than this set) * The Norsk mats are slightly thicker - just barely (described as being 1/2" thick, but are just under that really - but still thicker than these, which are described as being 3/8" - I've laid them down next to each other to check this). * The Norsk Mats only include 4 colors (red, green, yellow, blue); I admit - I much prefer the color variety of these mats, but not enough to justify the price difference. Here's the Norsk Mats on Amazon - but if you go to their website you'll see they're sold for just under $16 - but with free shipping (when buying 2+): Norsk-Stor 240147 Solid Color Recyclamat Multi-Purpose Foam Flooring, Multi-Color, 4-Piece The best mats we own are the ones by Edushape. They're definitely also the priciest we've owned, but well worth it. We own two of them (well - technically three - but 2 different types) - 2 of these: Edushape Edu-Tiles 25 Piece Solid Play Mat with Edges & Corners (which were price slightly lower than they are now when we bought them - $18/piece) and after getting these we decided to also get their alphabet mat: Edushape Edu-Tiles 36 Piece 6x6ft Play Mat, Letters & Numbers Set . Both of these are well worth the money if your budget allows for that. They're significantly thicker than any other mat we've ever owned - which makes a HUGE difference when it comes to the alphabet set - or any set that involves removable pieces. The thinner ones do not stay together - they will fall apart just from you walking on them. That's not a problem with this mat - the only reason the letters come out is because my son has taken them out. And the last brand we've tried is the tadpoles brand. I suggest avoiding them entirely. We owned two of these mats & had pitched them both within months. They look really cute - have great color schemes - but unless these are not going to be in a high traffic (or high-play) area - they're completely useless. After a few weeks ours would not stay together and my son wasn't even crawling yet - meaning he would sit in one area at a time & they were coming apart just from us walking around on them. The ones we owned (& threw out) were the Tadpoles 36 Sq Ft ABC Floor Mat, Green/Brown and the Tadpoles 16 Piece Squared Playmat Set, Blue/Brown . Both a complete waste of money. Maybe if you're just using this for a visiting grandchild or relative - but otherwise, don't bother with these. So - overall - these mats are OK...the only real complaint I have is the cost since these are comparable to the cheaper alternative I already own. But the colors are great, the set is a big one that covers a good space, and if it weren't for the lower price elsewhere I really wouldn't have anything negative to say about these.

Very comfortable. Water resistant and covers a decent sized area. I only needed 12 mats for a 2 person fight area. Light weight and simple to use. Using in a basement and they're definitely taking the load off us and are very comfy barefoot. Good value for money!

Hi have been keeping tropical fish for decades. Doing water changes and not spilling water is problematic. Found this wonderful product and it helps so very much to keep water off of the rug. And a nice cushion for kneeling and cleaning aquarium equipment. Highly recommend them

This is excellent - which is good bc I have searched everywhere and truly at this thickness, this company is the only game in town. I first bought one set and ended up ordering two more. I see in the reviews some people saying the edge trim is an issue...that is sort of true. Yes your toddler or infant will obsess on removing these and mine uses them like a sword and tries to chew on them but he has a full mouth of teeth and has absolutely never gotten a piece out of these. I even tested them by cutting one with scissors...even with scissors they don't "crumble" and they are pretty difficult to get through. That said, you can use them without the trim. Here is what I did. I removed all the trim. I used these in front of my couch in my living room on an all tile floor. They made the floor safe a cooshy for my toddler. I put the couch on top of two sides (sectional couch) so the edges were hidden and secured. I then used the rainbow colored large hexagon baby fence available here on Amazon (check my other reviews to find that) and opened to an "L" shape and anchored it to the walls on either end. I placed it so the edges of the mats were outside the gate and out of touch of the baby. This created a totally secure area. The colors are true to the pictures with the exception of the orange which is really more like a peach/tan blend. The mats are very large and really do FULLY lock into one another, your child (no matter how much of a houdini) isn't getting the squares apart from each other. Its a great thickness and the best I have seen. I have also owned the alphabet and numbers mats by a different maker and they are roughly half the thickness and your child will be able to pull out the letters quite frequently. If you are looking for a safe flooring option for a baby this is it. I looked at every option and We Sell Mats is the company to go with. A side note, if you are not in a rush and have a specific color need, you can go to their website where they sell these by the tile in each color. Amazon is the way to go if you want this multi color and have prime.
