This yoga mat is fabulous....I am just getting into yoga at home plus I have a lot of back and joint issues and am doing physical therapy exercises per my chiropractor. I gives me so much support and I can comfortably do all my moves. I ordered the black as that was the only available - it's more of a dark gray. Mat is a large size - width and length (I'm 5'3" and have a ton of room to stretch out) and comes with a very nice carrying strap. It came with no odor, but it air out and straighten a bit as it was curled some from being rolled and shipped. I just received it yesterday so I can attest to the durability. Very pleased. Shipping took six day to New Jersey. Not bad considering all the shipping delays due to COVID19.

I love this mat. This is my 2nd time purchasing. The 1st one I gave away. It's comfy to kneel or lay on. Well made.

I purchased this specifically for when I do situps. I have all hardwood floors and, well, situps hurt my rear! This pad is nice and thick and works perfectly for my purpose. IlI've also laid it out to use as a mat for when I color on the floor with my son. It protects our elbows, knees, and tummies nicely while we color. I can't speak to yoga use since I don't do yoga, but for situps it's great!

The thickness was as expected. The straps are not attached to the mat so ensure you don’t lose them.

Nice and thick and long. Perfect for yoga. It has a bit of a shine to it so worried my feet would slip doing yoga poses. I tried it out at home and I felt very secure on it . It is 3/4 inch thick ...I measured it myself. It will be very comfortable to kneel on. People complained it was too soft to do any balance yoga but every class of yoga I have been to we always step off our mat for balance poses. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a little more padding.

Ordered this product for the extra padded support. It works great. Only drawback is the trade off for comfort with durability. Our dog has made it's way across the pad a few times and a few swipes of his nails have already done some damage ( i understand this is our own negligence). Also, wear and tear builds up quicker than a standard yoga mat. Worth the padding though!

I bought this for my best friend who is ill and extremely thin. Yoga helps with his pain. His other mat was thinner material and the wood floor underneath, hurt his bony body. He loves this mat! He does yoga and stretching and even naps on it if the sun is coming through a window. It is twice the thickness of a regular mat and is very dense yet velevety smooth and cushioning to the weighted areas of your body. This would make a wonderful camping mat for under a sleeping bag. There is absolutely **no odor** to this mat. It comes packaged in a thick mil clear plastic wrapper. We are very happy with this purchase.

This is a good exercise mat. I bought it to replace one that was wearing out a little, but also so that I have an extra for my daughter to borrow when she's visiting. This mat is extra thick and gives a nice cushion. I also love the way the straps go on and off. They are elastic so no buckles or anything awkward. I slide it off easily for use, then roll it up, slide the elastic circles over the ends, and it's done. You can even carry it by the part of the strap that goes between the two circles.

This is a great mat, nice and thick, soft, durable and good value. The only issue is that it came with a distinct odor which took a long, long time to finally stop. It took at least a year! It was like a plastic type smell, not really offensive, more of an annoying smell that you can tolerate while using the mat. If you are sensitive to smells, then you may wish to avoid this item.

This is a very thick mat, which is what I needed. It suits my needs perfectly. I am a senior, and I have found I now need extra padding. This foam is firm, and gives a great surface for yoga and stretching, while still protecting my knees, elbows, etc.
