Q: How much ice used per each session

It uses no ice. You put the wrap in the freezer until frozen. Once frozen, you place the wrap or the boot to the area of your body that you want to treat, then hook up the compression hoses and run the machine with the settings that you want. After a treatment session, the wraps will probably return to room temp. Then, you simply put it back in the freezer to re-freeze it in preparation for the next use.

Q: Does the machine include a second set of gel packs? I’m needing a second set for a cross country flight after knee surgery.
