Oh wow...I am a rose lover. But I cannot usually wear strong tea rose soliflores. They are strident, high pitched, and harsh on me. But other rose scents on the market are often more about peony or peach, smelling very strange to me, not rose like. This fragrance is a delight, and EXACTLY as described. It is a blend of soft roses and fresh, sweet jasmine blossoms. On me the rose and jasmine are 50/50 at first - strong but not at all overpowering. Later it becomes almost all clean, fresh jasmine. To sum up: this is not a tea rose scent, but rather a sweeter, gentler rose mixed with charming jasmine which gradually takes center stage. Those who are usually 'scared' of perfume will easily take to this pretty, pleasing scent - great for a gift. (If you want a more photo realistic rose, try Tea Rose by Island Bath and Body works. You might even layer the two rose perfumes!)One last thought. Before buying one of those attractive but high priced soliflore scents from either Jo Malone or Aerin Lauder, take a moment to browse these offerings from Hawaii. Once only available to those visiting the islands, they are now accessible to anyone in the USA who wants to buy an American made bargain that smells GORGEOUS and far from cheap. Royal Hawaiian and Island Bath and Body Works (both right here at Amazon) have more than a dozen fragrant floral offerings for those interested. I am the proud and happy owner of all the Wicked Wahine line from Royal Hawaiian now, and hope to eventually try the others. Tropical beauty is at our fingertips! <3

I found this perfume at a gift shop in Honolulu. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was made in Hawai’i, as I prefer to buy gifts produced where I visit. I was even happier to see it was available online at a lower price. It is VERY VERY strong. I sprayed a sample on the back of my hand before my flight, and it lasted multiple hand washes and sanitizer usages. To me, this reminds me of plumeria more than perfumes made to smell like plumeria.

I love the smell of roses but it's hard to find rose scented things that aren't overpowering or feel a little bit...elderly. The slight whiff of Jasmine in this perfume softens the rose scent and makes for a beautiful perfume. It's quite a bottle for the money. The scent lasts a long time especially if you spray it in your hair.

I really didn't know what to expect from this perfume, but it is out of this world. Both rose and night-blooming jasmine are spectacular fragrances as single notes, but it would seem that when you mix them together, you've got a match made in heaven. To my nose, this perfume smells very similar to Crabtree and Evelyn's "Evelyn Rose," which I have always thought was the nicest rose perfume in my collection. If you love Evelyn Rose, you will love this fragrance. I had been trying not to use my bottle of liquid Evelyn Rose perfume because I think they have stopped making it, but now I don't have to worry because I have a big bottle of this, which will last a long time. I sprayed my hair with this and then noticed as I was standing in a checkout line that the lady in back of me was getting a bit close, trying to get a whiff -- it's that nice.
