It's good. Waterproof (although I prefer to dry shave), the blade unit is magnetic, so emptying is a breeze. Feels solid and feels good in the hand, powerful, charges easily. The blades are a bit expensive, like all blades, but should last a while. I'd buy it again.

After watching multiple reviews (including sponsored reviews) I purchased this with high expectations coming from a Pitbull with their Baron 4 Pro blade due to my fine hair and sensitive skin. I'm going to start with ergonomics... This thing is awkward to hold to say the least, my pitbull has finger notches to use my hands nature curve to go over my head... This doesn't. The second downside is this thing has about 40% less flex to the blades than my Pitbull blades and doesn't curve to my head as well. 3rd downside.... 35 minutes to get the same shave as my 3 month old Pitbull blades that literally takes me 5 minutes to fully shave my heads. 4th issue... The build quality is very very cheap. The only positive I have for this is the magnetic attaching blades which in my opinion is very cool and easy for cleaning.I'm sorry but having to charge this 3-4 times a week and spending 2 hours Plus shaving my head each week is just pitiful.I will be returning this product and going back to my 3 year old Pitbull...Never again will I buy a Groomie anything because of the experience I've had with this product alone.

Not a super powerful little system. It also doesn't come with the case, you have to pay extra for that. Strike one. Also, after a couple of weeks of use, the head doesn't want to really stay closed anymore. The little individual nodes want to pop right back open again, so you might have to close them repeatedly during a shave.Doesn't self-sharpen, so the heads are disposable and only last a few months. I haven't replaced this one yet because I'm not sure I'm sticking with this system or getting something a little higher quality. It's fine for what it is, though.It does also take a while to get a clean shave. I do like that you can use it wet. (At least I have been.) I also use it with shaving cream, I don't like dry shaving or just using oil.It's fairly versatile, but it is a budget option.

Fantastic shaver! Performs exactly as advertised! Personally, using after wetting head with hot water is the way to go. No friction and gives the closest shave. 3 minute head shave is legit, time it yourself. It being waterproof is a game changer and allows the fastest clean up on any system I’ve ever used. You won’t be disappointed.

Been shaving my head for over 25 years now with a electric clippers with no attachment. This worked well, but did leave about 2-3mm. Finally decided to try a head shaver and settled on the Groomie. Man, I will never go back, this shaver is fantastic! I've had this over a week now and used about 6 times, still on the first full charge. It works best as a head shaver - super easy to use, takes about 2 to 3 minutes to shave my head (compared to 5+ with clippers) and feels almost baby smooth afterwards. The first time I used it, my head felt stubbly, but later shaves I guess my skin adjusted somewhat and it feels much smoother. So much better than using electric clippers.I've used the Groomie clipper attachments to trip my beard - they work surprisingly well and have used nose hair trimmer which also works fine. I have also used the shaver on other body parts (back of neck and unmentionables) without any issues. I can't comment on the other attachments as I haven't used them. Also super easy to clean.My one negative is I don't get as close to the skin on the face shave. I remember having this issue with other electric shavers in the past though. I do have to go slow with very light pressure on my face as the shaver will pull my skin if I'm not careful - doesn't hurt, but something to be aware of. I've only done dry shaving so can't comment if it would work even better with shaving cream or in the shower.Product was packaged really nicely and charged at about 84%. As I said, been using for over a week now and it has only dropped to 55% or so. There are many options for head shavers on the market and at so many different price points. I ended up going with Groomie as it sounds like it is at least assembled in the US and company also has their own website independent of Amazon so it feels like they fully back their product. I am super happy with this shaver and look for excuses to use it almost everyday now. Hope this review helps!

Husband: The included trimmer lasted 6 beard trims then stopped working. . . The shaver itself is nice, but the hinges that you open to clean it are now flopping around when open, unlike when they were new. I have not used this as often and another shaver I have and I just purchased a Wahl trimmer which is way better at trimming a beard. I had a Wahl hair trimmer that lasted with me and my 3 boys {now Men} for 30 years. Yea 30! So I am trying their beard/head trimmer because of those 30 years. . . With this product I just don't feel it has very good quality and it feels like they want it to fail, so you will use the enclosed order form to buy new shaver heads and trimmer heads. . . And where do they put all that plastic waste? In our land fills or oceans, so they can make more money from us. . . I don't think they have our wallets, or our planet in mind. This things first impressions are amazing, it's a razor smooth shave and it's the first time I've ever experienced that from an electric shaver. I'm impressed now I just hope it lasts!
