Tasty and not overly sweet taste

I’ve had Gnarly Hydrate before. Definitely worthwhile. I get dehydrated pretty easily, but this keeps me hydrated well. The one thing I’d like to point out in this review, is how great the experience was, working with this dealer. Once I had ordered, they emailed me, asking if I needed anything else. Hey commented that we’d like the other flavor as well. They responded that whenthey get it in, they would let me know. With this type of customer service, I’ll definitely purchase from them again. One last comment. Don’t drink just the “hydrate”. When you get dehydrated, mix a drink of hydrate. Then drink a few drinks of water. It’s meant to replenish your trace minerals.

This was my first time purchasing this product, I found it searching “top electrolyte powder mixes”. It was rated as a Best Testing, coming close to being Best Overall, but the Stevia and 4 g of sugar kept it from winning that status. The only flavor available on Amazon was the ruby red grapefruit. While I wasn’t sure how good that would taste, I went ahead and purchased it anyway and was pleasantly surprised at how good it tastes. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that it does not dissolve that well, especially if you put the powder into a wet bottle. It will immediately clump and stick to the bottom, and then it takes bit of creative shaking to get it to break free. Yes, you can use a long spoon or something to scrape it from the bottom, but I don’t always carry a long spoon when I’m hiking 🥾😎 Otherwise, I am very happy with this product and will purchase it again, I just hope they have more flavors available this time.

Decent price, but sweet AF. Not for me. I wish they had a pic of the back of the bag in the highlights. Blech. Sugar and stevia extract. Doesn’t even taste remotely like grapefruit either.

It’s delicious. My husband works hard at landscaping and he drinks popular electrolyte beverages. At night he still cramps up. But when he drinks Gnarly, he doesn’t cramp at all. I don’t like artificial sweeteners so this is the one I buy. We also drink others flavors of Gnarly that are delicious.

I've been using Gnarly Hydrate for a while now and it's by far the best tasting, most hydrating supplement I've tried! I went on a six-week long climbing expedition to Greenland last summer. The team was hiking pretty long distances almost every day, much of it with super heavy packs, and I was beyond stoked to have the hydrate with me! I have also experimented with combining the Hydrate with the Gnarly BCAAs and they seem to work even better. Definitely not taking a climbing trip without this stuff ever again!

DOES NOT TASTE LIKE GRAPEFRUIT… if you are looking for real grapefruit taste buy the one from - Liquid IV it taste like Grapefruit.

I use these mixins in one of my bottles on my long trail runs. I've been using Liquid IV which I find to be very effective for me, but man, it's so salty and the taste is just bearable. I've been wanting to try Scratch, but it doesn't have as much salt and I need the salt on these hot days. Enter Gnarly. It has more salt than Scratch, but tastes far better than Liquid IV. The grapefruit is quite tasty! My one Con is that you need to really mix it up well in the bottle. It settled quite a bit until I mixed it more. This is probably normal for mixins, but the Liquid IV disolved super quickly (but again, it was nasty and didn't have the natural ingredients... worth the tradeoff!)
