Great little tool
Makes assembling or disassembling powerpole connectors so easy

This works great.
There are other ways to do it, little screwdriver for instance, and I used to do that when I was younger and poorer, but this is the easiest way to add/remove pins from the 30a size powerpoles.

The Missing Tool for Those That Use Anderson Power Poles
Anderson Power Poles are great electrical connectors and are widely used in the Amateur (Ham) Radio world to connect radios to sources of power. The problem was that when connections require re-working, there was no easy way to remove the connectors and salvage them for reuse. As a result, the end of the cables with the connectors was usually just cut off and discarded...even though the connector was still perfectly good. This small tool is a great addition to one's Anderson Power Pole "kit" and makes removal of the connectors easy and saves money by reusing them. It's a great addition to your toolset.

It does the job
It works well helping to ease the extraction of an assembled power pole contact, I used to do it with a small screwdriver, but with this tool it is just a small twist and the cable can be pulled out of the plastic housing very easily, just need to be careful before twisting to not grab the housing spring. Not so good as an insertion tool because it is limited just for small gauge wire. As others have noted it is a little expensive for what it is. But overall I'll buy it again if I need.

Works but grip comes off
Kinda works to remove and install PP connectors. Definitely better then without but the rubber grip comes off with little effort.
