The media could not be loaded. Video compares a $40 genuine squirrel hair brush to one from this Flydom set. Flydom is stiffer/snappier, than my genuine hair brush. Pigment releases smoothly and evenly. Brushes are well-constructed with excellent points and full bellies. Genuine squirrel hair is softer and allows for more expressive strokes, communicating a larger range of “movement.” Flydom brushes, being relatively stiffer, are more controlled, and for a beginner, likely a plus since they’re less sensitive to pressure changes and won’t feel so “floppy” and “out of control” as a genuine hair brush might. Painting results using either brush is similar. Nominal difference. Flydom is a great deal and at an excellent price point.

I’ve been very satisfied and pleasantly surprised with the quality of these brushes. I’ve purchased them twice, not because the first set needed replacing, but because I just wanted to have another set on hand. I use them very often and they’re my go to brushes a lot of the time. I’m still using them months later and I’m not seeing any wear. Wow!They hold a good amount of water and keep their tips, which are two very important qualities of a good brush. Easier to learn with than natural hair and they are exactly what I’d recommend to beginners. And because they have characteristics of fine , expensive brushes, they give you great results. You may surprise yourself with the beautiful art you can create. Yes you can!My suggestion has always been to not cheap out on brushes (or paper) if you really want to give watercolor a fair try. You’ll only get frustrated and move onto something else. These brushes offer an affordable price for a great performing brush set.These brushes have all the characteristics of fine, natural hair brushes (although you can’t beat an Escoda), while being cost conservative.I highly recommend.

So impressed so far! I ordered another set of these for future use incase they are ever needed. These control perfectly, hold a lot of water, load paint beautifully, hold a point, super soft and full control. I'm blown away with these brushes. I am a portrait painter and need controlled use of watercolor paints. You will not be dissapointed in these brushes. No shedding, the length and feel of the brushes is great. No wood handles to ruin with water. I just had purchased black velvet signature $120.00 brushes that were just hideous to use. I returned them and thought I would try these for $20.00. Wow, I've never been so suprised in my life! Don't hesitate to purchase these while they are available.

This set of mop brushes are great for the price and what it delivers... I'm an illustator and use watercolor for many of my projects... I found they keep their point and hold a good amount of water and pigment. I love the fact that they come with an ACRYLIC HANDLE! So how is it more watercolor brushes are not made with acrylic handles?! Watercolor brushes with their wooden handles ( even expensive ones) can easliy be ruined due to water swelling the wood and evenually cracking the enamel coating off the shaft and loosening the ferrule. I now dry my brushes with bristles down after a few of my better brushes were ruined... Not worried about this happening to this set of mop brushes!These brushes are GREAT for beginners because of the price point and shorter handle which gives more control. I'm not considered a beginner and will be using these bruses for my work. This set is also great for travel as it comes with it's own cloth pouch and again the acrylic handle. I was delighted to find a SURPRISE in the box as well! A water brush that is also great for traveling as water is kept in it's handle. This water brush is also good for those who like to do coloring book painting... As this brush will give just the right amount of water to move the pigment around but not oversoak the coloring book paper.Yes... I recoment this set for anyone wanting to paint with a water medium and not worry about the handle being ruined as they dry, a good price piont and the solod preformance they deliver. Enjoy!
