USB C Tester, 2 in 1 USB C Type-c Tester,Color Screen IPS Digital Multimeter,Voltage,Current,Power,Resistance,Temperature,Capacity Detector,with 3A Adjustable Shift Load

Just using it to test charge efficiency as well as total capacity of power banks mostly. For that purpose this works well; however it will require additional USB adapter cables not included in many cases. It works well for measuring capacity as it'll plug directly into the power bank. But for measuing charging into a power bank, no so well... requires a couple of adapter cables, which should be included. Overall happy with the way it performs and can keep track of power/capacity. The menu system is a bit of a pain to navigate through, but once you get used to having to cycle through all the menus constantly, its ok.

I am sure this is a wonderful device but trying to figure out what it can actually do is very hard. I have yet to figure out what the included micro-USB adapter is for. Instructions claim you need it to test USB-C devices, clearly incorrect as they work fine without it. They need to get someone who understands English Grammar to go over their Instructions. Instructions are confusing to say the least. Still, it appears to work as one would expect for basic functions. Measures current, voltage, etc. to various stuff. Appears well built and I will keep it but I am sure it does stuff that I don't know. I have not used the load device which is some resistors to simulate a load. Using it requires you to know Ohms law which I do and it is printed on the load but in an odd form, I=E/R is how I know it. Most people will never use this included option. Better instructions would get a higher rating from me.

This thing does a good job of measuring USB power, but as others have said, I'm leery about connecting it with my phone with a dodgy app which communicates with a server in China, so I just use it standalone. Be carful. The dummy load can get rather hot!

The tester can do everything claimed, and it does it well. I got it to test new USB chargers, and immediately found a cable failure that limited the device to 5V, 500ma. The directions, as others have said, are laughably bad. You'll know most of what the single button does, but when, or HOW to use the microusb adapter is on you. I also received the adjustable power load, which is two resistors that you can switch in our out to add 1A and 2A loads (or 3 if both are on). Seems to work well, but the resistors WILL get hot pretty fast, so I don't see that being useful for any prolonged testing...

Needed to see what my circuits were using for power, using this was easy to determine what was needed for each project. The timer on the device was nice to gauge how much power was used over a duration, everything else worked as intended. The only difficult feature is there is an over voltage/amps protection but you need to press the button 2x times to increase .1 and 3x times to decrease .1. The amps start at 5 amps but the voltage was at 30 so to set it to something low will take a while. Otherwise great product.
