Rubbermaid Commercial Products FG262000GRAY Brute Heavy-Duty Round Trash/Garbage Can, 20-Gallon, Gray

Hello everyone, I ordered this 20 gallon Rubbermaid white garbage can and it came delivered without being in a box just had a sticker attached to it it was completely filthy inside and out greasy fingerprints and handprints and scrapes and scratches on it. Order this to keep in my kitchen for recycling plastic and paper spent a half hour trying to get the greasy marks off of it. I would never order another one of these again through AmazonI will go to the store instead where I know I will be getting a brand new clean Rubbermaid garbage can. So if anyone is thinking of ordering one of these you better check to see if it comes in a box 1st or you might end up with a filthy one like I got. This is nothing against Rubbermaid as it is a very nice constructed brute strength can.

I've had issues with trash cans in the past. I drop a car on them and they splinter to bits! Happens every time. These cans will survive a car being dropped on them. I'm so glad someone stepped up to the plate to handle this ongoing problem of trash cans getting obliterated by cars that I drop on said can.If you haven't seen the video, go to Rubbermaid's web page for this product. They have a video where they drop a car on top of one of these cans. You'd think it would splinter to bits, but it survives. What did people do before Brute? They watched their trash cans get annihilated, time and time again, by the car that they drop on them. Sad.Thanks, Brute!

Been using these buckets for as long as I can recall. Great for storing/preparing water for aquarium use. Even had my live-bearers in it for a few weeks just to test it didn't have issues as the one I received was scarred on the outside and looked used. Inside was filthy and full of gunk beyond typical dirt. Was worried it may have toxins so tested it out with some guppies and mollies I had. Luckily no issues and now in my rotation with my main tanks. Wouldn't buy from this seller again. Do recommend the product itself highly. Keeps it's rigidity even when full. Great product for us fish lovers. I'm sure it has a dozen other uses. I've also used it to hold live bait when fishing.

Recycling has been a hassle--not that we don't like to do it, but we were using alternative containers that the sanitation guys just threw into the truck! Twice! I had found a large, blue recycling container on wheels but the lid was virtually impossible to remove once locked. The whole thing was off balance and cheap, and is now full of cracks.THIS can, however, is strong, durable AND blue (with the recycling logo), and hopefully the sanitation guys will recognize its purpose.I purchased the 20-gallon can and got the appropriate lid from another vendor. I also splurged and got the round dolly to make my life easier moving the whole thing to the curb.

Our trash people are constantly either tossing, running over, or just straight up taking our little square recycling bins that the city gives us. Or break them when tossing them like they're at the Olympics back onto the sidewalk or pavement. We got tired of this happening (and very recently it happened AGAIN), so I went right to finding something much larger that could hold all of the recyclables in one and wouldn't be back breaking work. Plus, sturdiness was clearly necessary.It came today, and I could NOT be happier with it! It's super SUPER lightweight for the size, and it actually really nice to look at. Hard to miss, and we wrote out address on it! There should be no reasons for it getting lost OR broken/ran over this time! I'll be grabbing a second one, too, just to have another on hand for those birthdays and holidays!

When I opened the box, the item has a big scratch on the top but since I was too busy for work, I just didn't bother to return it.

Very disappointed that this trash can did not come with a cover. I used my old one when I did gardening. Put in grass clippings and branches. My old trash can had a cover. Never had a trash can that did not come with a cover. I returned it. Went to home depot and bought a 32 gallon trash can with a cover for $16.00.

This container is thick and sturdy. My husband has the habit of throwing our recycle container over the fence on to the cement walkway. He has broken so many of the thin containers, in the winter, as plastic cracks when frozen! Don't seem to bother this one. Been throw a few times now and looks good as new. Durable...

Good item - bit expensive for the quality/thinness of material (not heavy duty like my old one)

We are using the black 20 gallon as planters for our fig trees. It’s hard to find a heavy duty 20 gallon nursery pots. The stores don’t carry this size and colour. It’s foot print doesn’t take much place, so we can overwinter our figs by the entryway. It’s comfortable handles and sturdiness makes it easy to move it around. 20 gallon of soil is heavy so it was important that the planter itself is light. Black absorbs light, therefore more heat for our heat loving figs. At $45, it is expensive (nursery pots are like $15).

I bought one 2 months back and now bought another, both green 20 gallon. I use them for yard waste with city pick up so I need something that will withstand abuse and these will do nicely. I have been using them every week and they still look new.

Dirty as can be disgusting looks used send new ones asap
