I’ve used this to cook shrimp in a skillet with butter on a grill for years. My favorite for shrimp and haven’t been able to find it in grocery stores since I left FL. In 98. Am so happy to have found it on Amazon. So flavorful so don’t be shy when using it.

Perfect in egg salad, tuna salad, on fish, and chicken! Love this stuff!

Stumbled upon this unique blend in a brick and mortar store around ten years ago or so. It's a haul from where I live now so being able to order online is great. This seasoned salt, as I think of it and consider it, is hot but not dirty hot. It's a bright hot if that makes sense. I doubt they use cayenne or jalapenos. They say on the label they use an assortment of peppers and I suspect a main one is serrano's, which are known as a "bright" heat pepper. I also suspect they use some type of citrus too. At any rate, it is not your normal Cajun type seasoning even though it's from that region. It does not taste Cajun. It's difficult to describe so I hope this helps at least a little.

So I love Gator Sprinkle and my wonderful inlaws bring it up for me from FL every year. I wanted my dad to try it so I sent it to him. He received the Cooter Rubb, which is nothing like the Gator Sprinkle. So I reached out to River Colony, they informed me they were not part of the packaging and shipping but were contacting amazon and fixing the issue and also sending out another one at no charge.. GREAT!Except my dad received the wrong item AGAIN! Another Cooter Rubb!! I have again reached out to river colony and left amazon packaging feedback so I will be curious to see what comes next, this is becoming quite humorous

This seasoning has the best flavor. I put it on everything from burgers to chicken to steak! I wish I could find it locally again, but I’m glad that I found it on Amazon! The seller was extremely nice, shipping was faster than expected!

Surprised there aren't more reviews here, obviously many are missing out on trying a really interesting spice combination with a little kick to it. I find it versatile and unique, especially enjoying it on salmon, making spicy french fries and adding it to many other dishes to bump up the flavor. It's really an assorted hot pepper type of spice, but not to the degree that it would scare off those whose palates can't handle the heat. Just use more or less to moderate the intensity.
