Moisturizing & Beautiful, healthy glow to skin!
I’ve gotten quite a few other Jung Saem Mool products here on Amazon and have loved everything I’ve tried, so I was excited to try another product from the brand! This comes in an outer product box. It is made in Korea. The ingredients were in Korean, so I couldn’t read them. But, I was able to find the ingredient list, which I put at the end of my review. I always hate when brands sell a product in the US, but don’t bother having the ingredient list in English. I’ve had some products where the brand puts a sticker over the top with the ingredients in English, which I always appreciate. But, when a brand is charging $35 (at the time of this review) for 1.69 fl oz/50 ml of product, I definitely think they should make sure to provide that info in English. But, it was easy enough to find the list online. This is a makeup base. It has SPF 30 in it, though for me that doesn’t really matter. I’d never apply enough to actually get SPF 30 from it, so I just look at it as a tiny extra bonus of SPF on top of my regular sunscreen. This has a creamy consistency. It glides onto the skin really easily. It leaves a slight tacky feel. The skin gets an instant glow..and I do mean GLOW! I am very pale, so for me, this didn’t give my skin a white/pale pink appearance, but I can see that happening if you have skin that’s any darker than stark white like me 😂 But, I did put some of this on my arm where I do have a little more color to my skin. When I first applied it, it did give a kind of pale pink cast to the skin. But, once I let it set for a minute to absorb, that cast went away and so did the tacky feeling it had initially. It left a much softer glow to my skin. It did the same on my face. If you give it time to set a little, like you should with any kind of base before going in with your foundation, I definitely feel like the glow dissipates some and isn’t so - “WOW! That’s glowy!” - and instead is more - “Oh, what a nice, healthy glow to the skin!” If that makes sense!I have normal to dry skin, more on the dry side with some extremely dry areas. I don’t use many matte foundations, but there are times when I need my makeup to last a lot longer than my usual dewy ones do, so I’ll reach for a matte foundation. When I do use a matte foundation, I always use something extremely hydrating underneath and try to use one that has enough of a glow to it that it will kind of peel through the matte foundation and not make it look so matte. I decided to give this a try that way and absolutely loved it! I’ve actually been reaching for matte foundations a lot more since I got this! It also works great under dewy foundations and my cushion foundations! I haven’t found a foundation I haven’t liked using this with!Overall, I absolutely love this! It feels extremely moisturizing and gives the skin a healthy, beautiful glow. It can seem like a little much at first, but it does subdue after it has time to settle for a minute. Makeup applies over it well. It works great with all types of foundations. I definitely recommend it!INGREDIENTSPurified Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Titanium Dioxide, Propanediol, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Diethylhexyl 2,6-Naphthalate, Homosalate, Niacinamide, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Caprylic/ Capric Triglyceride, 1,2-Hexanediol, Denatured Alcohol, Cochineal Cactus Fruit Extract, Blue Agave Leaf Extract, Rose Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Pentylene Glycol, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Vp/ Eicosene Copolymer, Polysorbate 60, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/ Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Cetyl PEG/ PPG-10/ 1 Dimethicone, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate/ VP Copolymer, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Alumina, Squalane, Stearic Acid, Dimethicone, Methyl Hydrogenated Rosinate, Aluminum Hydroxide, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose Stearoxy Ether, Ethylhexylglycerin, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Neopentyl Glycol Diethylhexanoate, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Adenosine, Sodium Polyacrylate, Citric Acid, Sorbitan Isostearate, Polyether-1, T-Butyl Alcohol, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Saccharide Isomerate, Tocopherol, Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate, Panthenol, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Retinyl Palmitate, Biotin, Cyanocobalamin, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Thiamine Hcl, Potassium Hyaluronate, Polyacid, Pyridoxine, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Fragrance, Iron Oxide Red, Iron Oxide Yellow

Glow, and moisture
I have very pale skin. At the time of testing the weather was freezing and the air was dry. I have aging skin. These are all important facts to know when reading a facial product review.I was curious to try the JUNGSAEMMOOL OFFICIAL] Masterclass Glow Base. I have roseaca which really stands out on pale skin. Even when under control my face can have red flushing. The glow base applies like moisturizer, which I desperately need in these cold months. I noticed right away it went on light, which is great for me because my skin is as light as this base. It made my skin even toned. I did notice it was filling in the pores like an expensive primer would.I let the product dry and saw the color was now adapting to my own skin color. That's good for those of you who aren't super pale like I am. I wish it had stayed that pale! It left my skin moisturized. I am not sure I will need that much moisture in the humid months. For now, it's perfect.I then used my foundation right on top of the base and it went on just as if I had used my expensive primer. My foundation did not sink into my pores. It went on evenly. It did not sink into my wrinkles.I am pleased with the results. I think this will be my go-to winter product. I will definitely try once the weather heats up just to see what happens. For now, this will be used daily while it's so harsh out.Five stars from me because this is exactly what my dry, pale skin that gets red in certain spots needed.

CHANGED TO MATCH MY SKIN TONE - GIVES SUBTLE HEALTHY GLOW
[my skin: age 73, fair, normal to dry, slightly sensitive ] I haven't used this under foundation yet and so far following a neck test there's been no adverse reactions. It isn't overly perfumed and goes on smoothly. At first there's a slight tacky feel with bright pinkish pearl sheen [ie. pearl eye shadow]; that I wasn't wild about. After several minutes, the sticky feel disappeared and the sheen became less in your face obvious. Then an amazing thing happened!! The pinkish tone slowly began to change, becoming a match to my natural skin tone!!! What I got was a radiant glow that wasn't white or pinkish like I thought it was going to be. So my take: like moisturizers, setting sprays and primers this product requires time to dry and sink into the skin prior to foundation. The directions [on side of box] state: Apply moderate amount evenly on your face before makeup and create skin tone with glow. The box describes it as: Brightening Wrinkle Care and SPF 30 cosmetic. Moisture Tone up base that creates even skin tone with glow by blending moisture and color. Since the ingredents are listed in Korean, I chased down an English KEY ingredients list; that include 3 of my favorites [HA, Squalane and Copper peptides]:Key Ingredients Antioxidant: Copper Tripeptide-1 , Tocopherol Cell-communicating ingredient: Copper Tripeptide-1 Skin-identical ingredient: Glycerin, Sodium PCA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables, Squalane Soothing: Copper Tripeptide-1, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables, Panthenol Sunscreen: Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Homosalate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Octocrylene, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. Google the product name for a full list and more info. Not being familiar with this brand I googled Jung Saem Mool. And its not hype, she is Korea's top celebrity make-up artist with an impressive career of over 30 years. So I feel comfortable suggesting that this would be a good addition to a makeup routine if your looking for a subtle all over glow. For now, with 30 SPF, moisturizing quality [although not sure of ingredients] and a reasonable price point when compared to other brands, it gets 4/5 stars. Once I see how it plays with EL Double Wear foundation I'll revisit this review. STAY TUNED!
